Race 1: $15,000 Claiming Pace

(1) WALKINSHAW N is still a force at age 14 and is a perfect fit at this $15K claiming level; from the rail he can yield to a rival (likely #5) and pounce from the pocket. (5) SOUTHBEACH HANOVER is fresh Dilloian Jr. stock off the claim and Bartlett picks up the drive; gelding stays put at the same level. (4) SOLESSEO MATUCA A made a nice first impression finishing second to #1 last week; Cushing veteran looks best of the rest.

Race 2: $30,000 Claiming Pace

(3) BOILING OAR isn't the most prolific winner but he's raced well in his last couple utilizing his early speed and now he's got a post edge on rival #4. (4) MISSED THE TRUTH A was a winner off the Laterza claim last week and was taken right back by Dilloian Jr.; he's the one to beat again. (2) ALTA CLASSIC A gave way without much excuse in his last race, and was claimed by Laterza; now resurfaces after about a month off and maybe will benefit from the break in action.

Race 3: $40,000 Claiming Pace

(5) COALFORD TOPGUY GB was a sharp winner off the Bongiorno claim and bump in class; has some good ones inside of him but I'll stay on board. (4) STELLAR YANKEE gets some post relief and I think a better effort can be expected. (3) MUSIC HALL was a winner first off the Daguet claim after rating a soft opening half. Gets Stratton now on the catch drive as he looks to repeat.

Race 4: Invitational Pace

(5) CAPTAIN MOORE A saw his win streak snapped by the insane Sweet Beach Life but he still proved solid for second and now Bartlett picks up the drive. (4) CHASE H HANOVER is the main speed and clearly the one to fear. (2) SOHO FIRESTONE A is 12 for 16 in the money this year and just two of those are wins but he always finishes close. Import qualified back nicely after taking some time off and he's in a good spot to pick up a nice piece.

Race 5: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(2) AMERITRIC has been coming off the pace recently without much success but he did close well last week when dropped to this level and now he gets Bartlett back in the bike, who won with this gelding in a $40K claimer the last time he drove. (3) CAPTAIN FEAR gets both class and post relief; figures to be more involved as a result. (1) INVISIBLE N gets his first inside post in ages and he too closed well for a piece in his last try.

Race 6: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace

(1) POP IT was not surprisingly bet heavily and was a winner in his first start for the Bongiorno barn; 5YO now faces a bit better but draws the rail and could have more to offer. (7) SUN OF A SHOW was a solid upset winner for these connections upon arrival from Tioga Downs. Veteran overcame an outside post to win and I'm looking for Boyd to be able to hustle him off the gate again. (5) CENTURY HEINEKEN closed crisply into the top choice last week.

Race 7: NW16501 in last 5 starts Pace

(6) PINNY TIGER A bumped back up to this level and was barely nipped on the wire last out; now draws outside his main competition but he's been so sharp I'm inclined to use him again, especially considering that the price should be very fair. (1) BANDERAS draws the rail after being hampered by poor posts in his recent Yonkers races; Burke trainee closed well from the eight hole last week to pick up a check. (5) THENU CAME ALONG A picked up Bartlett and was an odds-on winner last out; may need to be even better in order to repeat.

Race 8: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace

(1) MAC'S DELIGHT was an Invite winner not too far back and followed that up with a series of competitive efforts against better than he sees here; deserving favorite from the rail. (2) CAVIART LOTUS hasn't finished far off at big prices recently; don't overlook drawing just outside of the top one. (4) IKNOWBETTER went a tough trip last out and understandably tired; trainer Joe B. is in the bike from an improved post.

Race 9: NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace

(3) JUMPINGJACKMAC N has gone off long prices in his last three starts at the top level but finished close in all of them. Classy vet is back down to the level that suits him better and he's guaranteed to offer a much better price than the other class dropper in here. (4) GO GO GRASSHOPPER just missed in the Aria, just missed two starts back, just missed in his latest start. He deserves to be favored again but was odds-on in those last two races where he failed to convert. (2) AYE AYE CAPTAIN N missed a nose last out from a similar spot.

Race 10: $15,000 Claiming Pace

(2) BLACK EDITION N doesn't look all that appealing when you see his 2 for 31 record this year (and 1 for 39 in 2025) but look at the competition he faces...they have all been camera shy for the most part. This veteran just missed in his second start off the Stratton claim and is primed to get over the hump. (4) THEMASKEDCRUSADR N gets a new driver in Kelly and with this improved post should have a clear path to reaching the top three. (1) CYRUS N did trip out to win last week, making him 3 for 20 in 2026; can certainly repeat.
