Race 1: $20,000 Claiming Pace
(1) JOJO'S PLACE hasn't done all the much recently but he was claimed last week by the Dowse barn, which is clicking at an obscene 32%, and he gets leading driver Bartlett in the bike. Did I mention he drew the rail? (3) KENRICK N was used grabbing the lead from the eight hole, then yielded to the favorite but had something left to roll by late for the upset. He steps up in class but must be followed off that effort. (4) FARMER'S TAN also debuts for a high-percentage barn off the claim and he's shown good early speed in his two races after arriving from Canada.

Race 2: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(6) GLENGARRY KNIGHT N faces a much softer field tonight and he's shown quick gate speed in the past to get into play; veteran should be a good price in this wide-open race. (3) CONBOYVILLE was overtaken by the sharp Venier Hanover last week and tired to third; prior start he was just shy after cutting the mile. (4) EPIC ACE was vastly improved facing weaker in his last start and Bartlett drives again.

Race 3: $25,000 Claiming Pace
(4) UPTOWN FUNK has been on the shelf for nine months but he looks ready for action off that Freehold qualifier and he was facing much better when we last saw him. (5) RISKY MILLION gets some post relief and figures to be more involved; Kakaley drives this Alexander trainee. (6) AWESOMENESS was able to get the job done last week as the heavy favorite; anything from these connections have to be used but don't accept too short of a price.
Race 4: $40,000 Claiming Pace
(3) GHOST DANCE has been very live recently and just missed last out facing better off the Temming reclaim; he should be pointed to the front from this spot. (5) KEYSTONE DASH was reclaimed by Garcia-Herrera, who paid a $20K premium to get him back; connections must really like him. (1) BEACH BOOGIE lands back inside and he can certainly go with these. (6) THE DOWNTOWN BUS goes from Dowse in the bike to Bartlett; enough said.
Race 5: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) HE'S ELECTRIC is by no means a prolific winner but he's had pace from tough spots in his last couple and now he gets major post relief; Holland's choice over (5) MOHAWK WARRIOR, who he drives regularly. The latter paced a big back half last week at Freehold and now he picks up Bartlett in his local return. (4) L DEES JACK LOPEZ took plenty of money last start but never threatened; Pete Tritton trainee now faces softer.
Race 6: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) MONTY MONO has raced better in his last three and he seems to be knocking on the door; Gelding gets along well with Braxton Boyd. (6) LYONS KING was a mainstay at the high claiming levels earlier this year and he returns off a win at Pocono; Stratton is back driving for his brother. (2) SHANWAY N looks like a contender for good connections but is just 1 for 19 on the season.
Race 7: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot
(4) FLIP THE SWITCH faces much more seasoned rivals tonight but he's just a neck shy of a seven-race winning streak, and that lone loss was to a classy Svanstedt trotter. If he runs his race I can't find anyone to beat him. (3) KINDA LUCKY LINDY returns locally from a couple of decent efforts at Pocono and he was facing better when we last saw him. (5) JOHAN PALEMA loses Bartlett to the top one but gets the hot Holland in the bike.
Race 8: $40,000 Claiming Pace
(1) VENIER HANOVER has completely turned it around with the move to the Dowse barn (to nobody's surprise) and while he's ambitiously placed at this $40K claiming level he draws best and can take this field the distance. (5) MARCO BEACH dug in gamely in two straight and is clearly the main threat to the top one. (6) LYONS JOHNNYJNR has raced very well in two starts since returning locally but may face an uphill climb drawing outside of his main competition.

Race 9: NW24001 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) RATTLE MY CAGE ships in for Ake Svanstedt, who enlists Dan Dube to drive. They team up for an insane win percentage which makes this trotter routine selecting. (3) B NICKING gets an important switch back to Brennan tonight and draws better. (1) NEW HEAVEN seems like a must-use on the ticket from the innermost post.
Race 10: $25,000 Claiming Pace
(5) ASTON HILL DAVE went tough trips in his last couple but finds a spot here where he may be able to revert to speed tactics, which seem to work best for this veteran. (3) POSH ONTHE BEACH A hit the board the last two times Jordan Stratton drove. (1) TEXAS TERROR N moves all the way inside and picks up Bartlett. We'll see if this 14-year-old still has some life left in those legs.
