Race 1: NW10000 in last 5 starts Trot

(5) HOT FLASH KIMMY drops back to the same base level she was an odds-on winner at back in July but she'll offer a way better price tonight. May be worth a try despite the talent to her inside because of the potential value on this Stratton-trained mare. (3) NEMERIA is also dangerous but she did burn money versus similar three back. (1) HONOLULU HANOVER was second best last start when he finally drew a good post and it's even better tonight as he lands the rail.

Race 2: F&M NW5071 in last 5 starts Pace

(2) FIGHTING EVIL is an unappealing 0 for 23 this year but she raced much better last week when she dropped and finally drew a good post. Veteran mare is in a similar spot tonight. (4) DW'S DARLENE was claimed out of her last race despite not having very much current form but she does get to drop in class for her first start in the DiDomenico barn. I thought (7) PURAMERI had a chance at a big price last week and she was fourth in an even effort; she'll be an even bigger longshot tonight and with a patient and crafty drive by Lachance maybe she can sneak onto the ticket.

Race 3: NW5000 in last 5 starts Trot

(5) FOR A DREAMER is 0 for 24 on the season but has earned enough to pay the bills. 11YO veteran drops to the lowest level and meets equally camera-shy rivals; expect Holland to be aggressive. (4) CHAPHEART is also facing softer but that was the case last week at Tioga and he failed at odds-on. (2) HOOLIE N HECTOR is another veteran with back class who just hasn't gotten going but is a player on his best day.

Race 4: F&M NW33591 in last 5 starts Pace

(5) TICK A LOCH A is back at Yonkers after winning in back-to-back starts at Philly and Pocono, plus she lands a reasonable post after being at or near the far outside in recent local starts. She can close but her best game is being near the front. (4) FRONT PAGE STORY may not be a factor in every race but she rarely goes a bad one and she's capable of winning this if the right trip comes along. (1) WORKLIFEBALANCE dropped and popped last week yet still remains a threat back up in class.

Race 5: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot

(2) BJM'S LIL MAN broke last week and had no chance from there, but note he also broke four back and came right back the following start with a big effort to just miss. Perhaps more of the same happens here. (7) WARRAWEE YANG steps up with a poor post but overall he's been solid since moving to the Burke barn and he does have early speed in a race that seems to be devoid of it. (4) SEA CAN was stuck in the eight hole last out but prior starts from better posts were good.

Race 6: F&M NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace

(2) MISS DOTTIE MAE doesn't win often but she's a consistent veteran who is capable when things go her way. From this decent post she could be on the lead or right in behind. (3) BLUE CHIP LOU N is the latest fresh face from Down Under, this one for the Lance Hudson barn. She was an easy winner in a qualifier at Pocono and though the final time was a little on the slow side she did pace a good back half. (1) TIME TO STRIKE drops and moves all the way in to the rail; I couldn't fault anyone for betting her on top.

Race 7: NW10000 in last 5 starts Trot

(4) WINDSONG PIONEER moved into the Lachance barn two back after not functioning in the Stafford barn and he was much improved in his last two amateur races. He's got plenty of back class and could have a clear path to the front. (5) YO SHELDON seems to be rounding into form as he's classified better; Kelly gets the drive and looks to have a big chance. (1) STMIKES KERRYBLUES recently turned things around at Pocono and looks for two straight in his Yonkers return.

Race 8: F&M NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace

(1) SHESGOTTHEJACK has been on a serious roll since moving to the Adamczyk barn and she's a nose shy of a four-race winning streak as she just missed in this class last week. 4YO can make up for it tonight from the rail. (4) SHEER ARTISTRY N has made a very nice living camped out at this optional $60K claiming level and she figures to pick up a nice piece again. (3) LOOKLIKEDIAMONDS A burned loads of money last start when she was off the board at odds-on. Tritton mare does draw a better post here.

Race 9: NW16201 in last 5 starts Trot

(2) HAPPY JACK B jogged in his local return and the Svanstedt trainee gets a free ride in this class with Dube driving again; very logical favorite. (4) ULTION FACE S was a lame scratch back in July and has so-so qualifiers since. Bartlett is listed to drive and if you tell me he's leaving the Meadowlands just to drive this one, then is going back across the river for the late double, then I guess we need to take this guy pretty seriously. (1) LAFERRARIDMANCHE S returns from Pennsylvania and has raced well here in the past.

Race 10: F&M NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace

(6) NILA MAREE N makes her third start at this reduced level and she finished a close second last start as the favorite. Yes, the post doesn't make things easy but she's a seven-time winner already this season over 23 starts and looks to be the most consistent lately of the main players. (1) CHERYLS SHADOW doesn't have the greatest-looking form but she's a legit talent who moves all the way in to the rail. (2) MILLWOOD BLISS N gave way badly in her last Yonkers start when used hard on the front; she'll probably be stalking here.
