Race 1: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) CONBOYVILLE dropped to this level last week and came up just short in a solid speed try. That loss means he can stay in this same class where he clearly fits well and the Devita trainee gets top billing. (2) MONTY MONO has been a major underachiever considering he was taken by these connections a couple of months back for $40K but he's been better in his last couple and he lands a decent starting spot. (8) VENIER HANOVER found a very soft field for his debut in the Dowse barn and he predictably jogged at odds-on; he can certainly win again but will have to work much harder to overcome the eight hole.

Race 2: $15,000 Claiming Pace
(3) LETTUCERIPRITA A was a pocket-rocket winner last week and Braxton Boyd drives again here facing much of the same. (4) CARRACCI HANOVER closed for second at a big price last start and he moves in a couple of posts while returning to Brennan; the ex-freelegged veteran pacer fits well with these. (1) IDEAL SON has little going for him other than the innermost post and the leading driver; small share?

Race 3: $25,000 Claiming Pace
(6) AWESOMENESS was second best last week chasing the strong winner and while he steps up a notch in price he doesn't meet any standouts; Bartlett can get the job done here for this 30% winning barn. (2) FOX VALLEY INFERNO was much-improved last start and just missed after grinding a long way; Tirella trainee stays at the same level and draws well again. (1) MARTY MONKHOUSER A would probably be better suited a level or two down and now trainer Cory Stratton does the driving tonight; hard to justify using on top but the classy veteran should hit the ticket with an easy trip.
Race 4: $40,000 Claiming Pace
(4) DESIRE'S CAPTAIN rolled to a solid win last start and seems capable of repeating with another good trip; veteran should offer a decent price as well in this competitive field. (3) LYONS JOHNNYJNR resurfaced locally last week now in the Travis Alexander barn and he was a nice pocket-sitting winner. Gelding could have more to offer on the rise in class. (5) BEACH BOOGIE was a solid second two back at this level with Simon Allard driving.
Race 5: NW15261 in last 5 starts Trot
(1) AMBASSADOR HANOVER failed at odds-on upon arrival but he was facing much better than what he sees here. Dube gets the drive again for the Svanstedt barn and will be tough to deny. (3) DC ANNA has finished second in her last three tries and this looks like a good spot for Brennan to be forwardly placed to set up a trip behind the top one. (7) JOHAN PALEMA grinded out the win last start at 1/5 odds and he can have an extended stay at this level meeting the NW 9 also-eligible condition.
Race 6: $20,000 Claiming Pace
(4) DAVIDS COMING HOME hit the board in his last two tries and was claimed out of last week's race by trainer Mark Capone, who has had success with this gelding in the past. (3) OUR THIRD ROCK was out a long way last week and held pretty well for third. He's just 2 for 70 over the last two seasons but does seem to have a legit chance here. (5) OHIO VINTAGE gets a barn upgrade to DiDomenico after getting claimed out of his last start; definitely an interesting option here at his 20/1 listed morning line.
Race 7: NW23751 in last 5 starts Trot
(5) WARRIOR ONE may not currently be at his sharpest but the Burke trainee should offer decent value in this tough-to-figure six-horse affair. Does Brennan get aggressive off the gate? (2) NEXTROUNDSONME failed to get involved in his last couple but was a solid second three back. (3) ON HIGHER GROUND was overwhelmed by Mississippi Storm in his last start; prior one was good.
Race 8: $40,000 Claiming Pace
(3) MARCO BEACH has quickly proven that he can go with this type and he looks like the deserving favorite as he tries to make it two straight. (7) ODDS ON DELRAY is back in for a tag after failing in his last couple against lower-conditioned rivals but he did have an excuse last week as he was jammed in the pocket; anything from these connections have to be respected. (6) CAVIART SARGENT raced well last week in his first start for his new barn.

Race 9: NW30000 in last 5 starts Trot
(5) EUROBOND has been successful versus better than these multiple times this season and he returns locally after finishing well against some good ones at Pocono; Dube gets the catch drive and he's clearly the one to beat. (2) LEAN HANOVER was decent in his last start and always deserves consideration when drawn inside. (6) I DA PRINCESS faltered in her last couple at the top F&M level but the mare clearly has talent and we'll probably see an off-the-pace try tonight.
Race 10: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) MISSLE SEELSTER went a tough trip last week when he was out every step and wide a long way but he was still there at the end; Cory Stratton almost won with him four back from a similar spot. (7) PICARD A isn't sharp now but he faces softer and could awaken at a price; Allard drives. (4) BETTOR BE OSCAR A came out of the same race as the top choice and he was also hung the mile but didn't tire that badly.
