Race 1: $12,500 Claiming Pace

(5) DEERFIELD BEACH hails from a barn that doesn't win many races but he's flashed good speed in his last couple and has proven to be a good fit at this basement claiming level. (1) NIHILATED TRUTH goes for a new barn off the claim, has been in good form, draws inside and is clearly the one to beat. (4) GENERAL JOY A has done nothing since being claimed by DiDomenico for $20K. He's now in for $12,500 shipping from Philly looking to awaken.

Race 2: $15,000 Claiming Pace

(4) SHOREVIEW didn't fire in his first start off the Cory Stratton claim but we know he's capable of much better and he should be a decent price looking to turn it around. (7) ART HISTORY rallied mildly last week for third and now the Jenn Bongiorno trainee drops from $20’s to $15's; I suspect Joe will be looking to improve position off the gate. (2) OFFICIAL DELIGHT double-drops in price looking for that elusive first seasonal win.

Race 3: $12,500 Claiming Pace

(2) THEREISAPACEFORUS powered by late to score as the chalk in his debut for the Stratton brothers and this veteran stays at the winning level. (5) MACHING TIME has raced decently to hit the board in his last three. (1) BUSH MAN N tired badly last out but he has some prior efforts from Philly that would make one think he should be competitive here. From the rail he can save ground and land a piece.

Race 4: $20,000 Claiming Pace

(3) FOREVERNALWAYS was much-improved last week and that was coming off a sick scratch; he should be a good price with an unproven local driver in this competitive field. (6) IT'SGOODTOBEDAKING didn't get involved upon arrival from Ohio but he goes for a new barn now off the claim and could show more. (4) MACHIAVELLI came up second best to a longshot last week after cutting the pace; overall form has been good as he looks fir his first seasonal victory.

Race 5: 3&4YO $30,000 Claiming Pace

(1) AQUAMAN HANOVER returns locally now in for a tag and despite bad luck at the post draw last time he was here the Devita trainee was able to take a field of NW2's down the road in 1:53 4/5. He should be in line for a live trip tonight. (4) SAILBOAT HANOVER had some recent issues but it looks like the Burke trainee has gotten that corrected; he ships in looking for two straight. (5) WELL DONE SON hasn't won a race yet since moving to the Dowse barn but he's put in some decent efforts.

Race 6: $20,000 Claiming Pace

(3) RUTHLESS DUDE was claimed again last out and goes for a barn that's had some success here this season; he's got early speed from a decent draw. (4) COOL BLUES MAN fired home for the upset last week and stays at a winning level. (5) PLAY THE FIELD rated a soft pace last out as the 6/5 favorite but still was caught; expect a better price tonight.

Race 7: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot

(3) BIG BOX HANOVER didn't fire when needed upon arrival from Ohio but he lands in a softer spot tonight and can rebound. (8) THE LAST CHAPTER meets the softest field probably all year and he deserves consideration even from post eight. (2) LIFETIME ROYALTY figures to be close-up throughout.

Race 8: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(4) HUDSEN A gets a nice driver upgrade to Dube and meets a field loaded with question marks. If he projects to be around 10/1 or so come post time he may be worth a try. (2) ODDS ON DELRAY has back class returning from the Midwest and is probably the one to beat. (3) TULLOW N gets some moderate post relief, could make some noise.

Race 9: NW20000 in last 5 starts Trot

(4) SECRET BRO is still looking for his first 2021 victory but he's raced well in all recent, including last week in his debut for the Jenn Bongiorno barn; gelding is a legit player here. (5) WARRIOR ONE has good early speed and was second best last out to a repeat winner. (1) TAD CRAZY HANOVER gets major post relief and will be more involved from this spot.

Race 10: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(4) THE DOWNTOWN BUS has finished in sub-:28 in his three starts since returning locally and the Gillis trainee has plenty of back class; this feels like his week to shine. (2) MIGHTY MR SHARKEY N has raced very well in his last three, all at different venues. Barn had a jogola winner the other night. (1) VIRGIN STORM has just one win on the season and is up a bit in class off a loss but he draws the rail and can sit a live stalking trip.

Race 11: NW30000 in last 5 starts Trot

(2) MOSTINTERESTINGMAN was uncovered last start but could not make a dent into the well-meant front-running winner; he's been an equine ATM machine for years and can add another $18K with a win tonight. (5) PATRIARCH HANOVER has just been okay recently but he can be a major player here with more aggressive handling. (4) BULLY BOY bounced back from the break two back with last week's game uncovered score; he can land a share facing better.

Race 12: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace

(1) ODDS ON BOCA RATON is another "Odds on" veteran shipping back east from Ohio. He fits well here and can take these the distance. (2) SECRECY tired chasing a fast pace last week; he just missed the prior start at this level. (5) FURIOUS BEACH debuts for DiDomenico off the claim and gets away from the eight hole.
