SPOT PLAY: MISSILE SEELSTER (7th)
Race 1: F&M NW16391 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) SHESASHARPSHOOTER ships into Yonkers coming off a career-best 1:48 4/5 clocking over at The Meadowlands and the 4YO has really picked up her game since coming down from Canada. Expect her to head for the front. (6) HUNTRESS beat similar two back and rallied with plenty last start; Bongiorno trainee still fits under the AE condition so she can stay at this level. She's won the last three times Bartlett drove. (1) KICKUPYAHEELS N was in against some tough ones recently at Philly but she won her two prior; she also broke in a Yonkers appearance back in June so use caution.

Race 2: Pop-Up F&M Leg #2 Pace
(2) GET ANSWERS was a perfect 7 for 7 in the money this year for Burke until she suffered broken equipment and broke late in leg 1 of this series. Filly faces just four rivals here and deserves another chance. (4) MARATHON MARY gets Bartlett in the bike tonight and the Shane Tritton trainee will likely be utilizing early speed. (3) RHYDS ECLIPSE GB has just one win on the season but has been a consistent presence week in and week out; last week she closed well from the back to land a piece.

Race 3: Pop-Up F&M Leg #2 Pace
I'm not thrilled about selecting another short price but I don't see anyone beating (2) COACHELLABOUND N. Since breaking in her U.S. debut she's reeled off three straight dominating wins. (6) FRONDEUR has raced well in her last two at big prices after showing a little early speed to improve position. Filly can add some value underneath. (1) DARLINGTON HANOVER was nowhere in her local debut but that looked like a needed race and she now moves all the way inside. Could have more to offer.
Race 4: Pop-Up F&M Leg #2 Pace
(1) TALLCHIEF HANOVER made her initial start for the Engblom barn last week and closed fast to get there in time; Bartlett drives again looking to double up. (6) COALFORDSNSHINE GB fires from the gate every start and if she minds her manners (she's broken in two of last three) the Burke import could hit the top and forget to stop. (4) SEAFOOD BEAUTY was bet down to even money in leg #1 of this series but made little impact. Price goes up now.
Race 5: $15,000 Claiming Pace
(4) ZIGGY SKY hasn't made much of an impression at the $20K level since being claimed but he picked up a couple of thirds. Veteran drops back down in class, tries a new driver and could be worth a look at a price vs. a shaky favorite. (3) OURRHYTHMNBLUES N has been right there in all recent starts but hasn't been able to seal the deal and now he drops in class off a sick scratch. If he's good to go he'll take this field wire-to-wire but doesn't seem worth the short price. (6) SULLIVAN stays at the same level off last week's claim and he's been racing well recently.
Race 6: $25,000 Claiming Pace
(3) DECOY raced gamely in defeat last week after racing uncovered into the rating leader; he draws well in this camera-shy field and figures to be heading to the front. (6) MINGO JOEL dropped back to this level last start after being a bit overmatched in the $30's and he didn't really fire. Gelding needs a trip but is capable of better. (4) ROCK LIGHTS is back in for a tag and he pops up with a big effort now and then.
Race 7: $20,000 Claiming Pace
(2) MISSILE SEELSTER has looked very good in two starts off the Laterza claim and while he bumps up a notch in class he draws much better and should offer some value. (3) PICARD A went wire-to-wire last week; threat to do it again. (4) SEAFARER was a winner off the Bako claim two back then broke last week at odds-on; Pat Lachance gets the catch drive tonight and he's more than capable of defeating these. Price should be honest as well.
Race 8: F&M NW23681 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) SILK CLOUD A was outbattled to the wire by a classy rival last week when odds-on. All prior efforts by this Pete Tritton import have been competitive and this feels like a spot where catch-driver Dube could get aggressive early to set up a trip, perhaps behind #1. (1) MILLWOOD BONNIE N was overmatched in that start at the Open level but she's gone 10 for 21 and earned over $155K this season facing mostly this caliber of rivals. (2) DRAGONS LUCKY LADY moves back up to face better but she's been competitive with this type in the past.
Race 9: F&M NW31053 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) I've never really been a (2) DRAMA ACT fan but she's supposed to handle these. (5) CHUPPAH ON has been very sharp at the $50K claiming level and she steps up to face much better but her early speed can get her in play and set her up with a nice trip. (3) INCASEYOUDIDNTKNOW shipped in last week and picked up a win; she now resides in the Cory Stratton barn and Jordan drives.

Race 10: $30,000 Claiming Pace
(2) ALOTBETTOR N has five wins over the last seven races, including last week's well-rated win. Ruiz trainee lands inside again and doesn't face a very tough field. (5) ARTIST BEST was a winner off the claim and now logically bumps up a notch; he can land a good piece here. (1) MISTER SPOT has speed and an inside draw; trip behind the top choice is possible.
Race 11: $15,000 Claiming Pace
(7) TOATSMYGOATS never had an anxious moment in his local return and the move outside shouldn't present a major problem with his early speed. (2) MY MIND IS MADEUP finished well last week on the DiDomenico reclaim and he's very logical moving inside. (1) LETTUCERIPRITA A also gets needed post relief and he races well with Bartlett.
