Race 1: NW7976 in last 5 starts Trot

(3) BULLY BOY HILL took advantage of a soft spot to win easily last out and maybe that gets him rolling a bit as he steps back up the class ladder. (1) SENSI AMNESIA drops back to the level of last month's claim after a couple of okay efforts facing better. (2) SMOKING JET drops from the $40K claiming class, draws well and figures to be stalking the speed; should be close at the wire.

Race 2: F&M NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(4) GINGER TREE LIZ enters the Bako barn via claim after a long run with the Temming connections and she is eligible to drop a level; I think the veteran deserves a shot to score first time out. (6) GLITTERING HOPE had non-existent form at Yonkers, went up to Tioga and dominated; now she returns at a reduced level than she had been facing and can carry those winning vibes back with her. (2) SUNBURST rallied decently for third in her first start after arriving from Ohio.

Race 3: NW5116 in last 5 starts Trot

(7) MARIN COUNTY picked up a third last week when dropped to this level and he faces a field devoid of form; he's well-mannered and has shown some early speed in the past so I'm hoping that Siegelman takes a shot off the gate. (4) MYCROWNMYKINGDOM drops to the basement and if he can repeat the effort from two back he'll be very tough. (1) TACHYON has seen better days but from the rail he's a factor.

Race 4: F&M NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace

(1) LA MIKI N is 4 for 7 since shipping to the States from Canada and now gives Yonkers a try; mare seems sharp enough to compete with these. (5) OAKLEY SHARD N now makes her third start after arriving from Down Under and it's time to start showing more. (4) DANDY'S MERCY gets post relief and a new driver with Stratton getting the call.

Race 5: F&M NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace

(4) LLOYD'S LOVES folded on the front end last week after setting a decent clip but I'm not ready to give up on this mare who knows how to win; another chance. (2) CERISE RAINBOW A steps up a notch after just missing in her last start and the Australian import finds a pretty good spot here. (3) CHANCEOFLIGHTNING also set a fast pace in her latest and gave way late; her prior two starts she lagged at the back making no moves so maybe from this post she can split the difference and lay just off the pace.

Race 6: NW15791 in last 5 starts Trot

(1) GREEN PASTURES has been facing much better of late and isn't that far removed from a win here in the Invite so this trotter from the Engblom connections clearly looks like the one to beat. (4) P L OSCAR is grinding out a decent season and fits well with these; adds value underneath. (7) HOWLINGATHEMOON DK arrived at Yonkers for Lachance and wired a softer field as the favorite; steps up and moves outside but the price will be much better.

Race 7: NW10051 in last 5 starts Trot

(2) BAY BREEZE HANOVER was nailed late after a good try in last and now she drops to face a mostly softer field; Holland should take control early and can take these the distance. (4) SAINTS PRESERVE US wasn't bad in her local return and should be a live one underneath. (3) KHAOSAN ROAD sat a pocket to the top one last start and may look for the same trip.

Race 8: F&M NW21901 in last 5 starts Pace

(4) WORKLIFEBALANCE was basically no match in last week's Invite but she rallied to be second in her prior try and she's beaten similar to these multiple times in the past. Noel Daley trainee is versatile and has options from this post. (2) SHEER ARTISTRY has been a model of consistency recently and has also been lucky with the post draws as she's inside again; should be looking at a nice trip. (5) ROSE gets needed class relief, picks up Brennan tonight driving for Burke.

Race 9: F&M NW15661 in last 5 starts Pace

(3) POST PAINTER N picked up her first North American win last week in her fourth try and the Lachance trainee likely has more to offer as she faces better, including two more Down-Under imports making their debuts. Tough race to figure. (4) HARLEEQUIN A debuts for the Engblom outfit and (6) SPIRITUAL BLISS N starts out for the Bako barn.

Race 10: F&M NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace

(3) PURAMERI doesn't win often but when she does it's when she can trip out at the lowest level. Veteran mare was a close second last time she was in this class. (5) IDEAL COVER is by far the biggest money earner in here this year and she was facing tons better prior to last week's race at Tioga. (1) DISTANT LOVER drops and moves to the rail but at 3/2 on the ML she's a shaky favorite.

Race 11: $15,000 Claiming Pace

(5) I'M TALKIN HUNGRY finished with pace after a shuffle in his debut for his connections off the $15K claim. Stratton drives again and he deserves another chance. (3) PINK FLOYD HANOVER showed forward progress for the first time in weeks and was outgamed late; Adamczyk trainee moves in a couple of spots, picks up Holland and is clearly one of the main players in here. (4) HEZ ALLTHERAGE N has really fallen on hard times after earning almost $200K in his first two seasons after emigrating from Australia.
