2026 MEET STATS: 240 - 753 / $1,317.84 (-$188.16)

BEST BET: KOPI LUWAK (4th)
SPOT PLAY: LLOYD'S LOVES (5th)
Race 1: NW5000 in last 5 starts Trot
(3) BULLY BOY HILL was used hard from the eight hole last week when dropping and now he finds himself at the lowest conditioned level against a soft field. Overdue for a win. (2) MARIN COUNTY drops from a tough age-restricted NW lifetime field to this class; rather than going through the motions he looks like a major contender and we'll see how he reacts to what is likely more aggressive handling. (6) TACHYON has done nothing in the last couple of months but his latest effort at The Meadowlands was better.

Race 2: $15,000 Claiming Pace
(1) I'M TALKIN HUNGRY was very sharp in two starts after arriving from Philly and he was claimed out of his latest race; draws best and keeps Stratton for his new connections. (3) ALADDIN was second best with an Italian amateur last out and he returns to Lachance on the catch drive. They teamed up for an easy win four back. (4) CAPTAIN BATBOY returns from Pocono off a couple of good efforts and doesn't have much else to beat to land in the top three.
Race 3: F&M NW10331 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) POST PAINTER N charged home to be second best last week, her best effort since arriving in the U.S. Lachance trainee drops a level, draws well enough and figures to be the one to beat. (1) SPLASH OF PINK was off five weeks after a sick scratch but she was a solid second at Pocono last out; mare should be very live tonight from the rail. (2) CERISE RAINBOW A was a winner at The Big M upon arrival from Australia but has failed to hit the board since; import from the Engblom camp should be an honest price after a couple of recent money-burning efforts.
Race 4: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
This is probably the softest field that (1) KOPI LUWAK has seen in the last three years and he really should be able to take these coast to coast. (2) PRINTVILLE gets major post improvement in his second start at this NW5000 level. (5) SILKY CHOICE has been a disaster so far since shipping in from Canada for the Alexander barn but after struggling and pulling up in his last race he came right back a week later and was fine in that qualifier. Clearly there's ability here as he banked over $150K as a 3YO.
Race 5: F&M NW15811 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) LLOYD'S LOVES was dead-game in defeat in her local return; we know this mare loves to win and despite the bump in class she still fits with these class-wise; 8/1 ML. (2) ELUSIVE A missed a head from the eight hole the last time she was at this level and will have every opportunity to wire these. (1) NILA MAREE N also gets post relief and figures to be stalking the pace from close up.
Race 6: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot
(1) HAPPY JACK B was third in the Yonkers Trot last year and returns locally riding a two-race winning streak. Dube drives the Svanstedt trainee tonight. (4) CAMERA MAN was a winner last week and actually gets to drop in class; clear contender. (5) LUCKY MUM N fired to the front from post seven and wired the field at 44/1. Steps up a level but Siegelman may try employing the same tactics.
Race 7: F&M NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) BRI EXPRESS N is in a little win slump but she has won five races this season with over $75K in earnings. Stratton trainee drops another level with moderate post improvement. (1) LUCKY ARTIST A continues to frustrate me as I'm never right with her but from the rail down in class the 13YO is tough not to include. (5) SUNBURST ships to Yonkers now in a new barn. That angle alone is enough to consider her.
Race 8: F&M NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) LYDEO finally broke into the win column last week and I'm thinking from the rail she can trip out and repeat. She does have plenty of back class so the move up a level may not be a major issue. (4) SHESGOTTHEJACK is two-for-two since moving into the Adamczyk barn. (3) OAKLEY SHARD N wasn't involved in her North American debut, draws better here. (5) LOOKSLIKEDIAMONDS A has finished close in all recent efforts.

Race 9: F&M Invitational Pace
(4) JENSVILLE A has two wins, a close second and a third in her last five starts at the Invite level; still she is able to land a very reasonable post again tonight. Chris Height trainee is one of many live ones in here. (1) COACHELLABOUND N dropped to the basement and worked herself all the back to the penthouse. Veteran is assigned the rail after touring the track from post eight last week. (2) FRANCENT N has shown a vicious late kick since arriving; the Lachance import faces an uncertain trip from a rare inside post but must be considered.
Race 10: NW10000 in last 5 starts Trot
(3) I'M OUT steps back up off a loss in an Amateur event but he's got some speed and a decent draw. DiDomenico trainee has more wins at Yonkers this year (three) than the rest of the field combined. (2) YO SHELDON rallied for third upon shipping in and it was one of his better efforts recently. (1) HOWLINGATHEMOON DK has been decent recently down at Philly for Lachance; he now drives after using catch drivers in those recent races.
