2024 MEET STATS: 224 - 753 / $1,246.10 (-$259.90)
BEST BETS: 32 - 65 / $120.40 (-$9.60)
BEST BET: BAR COINS (6th)
SPOT PLAY: ATREACHEROUS A (2nd)
Race 1: F&M NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) JIVE DANCING A dropped to the basement last week and still couldn't convert but it was a better try. Classy mare gets another crack from an inside post and hopefully can get the job done. (7) ROCKNROLL ANNIE is 0 for 17 this year and just 2 for 32 in 2023 but she generally has been facing better than these (with the exception of #1). If Bartlett can find a good early spot the Bucci trainee can threaten at a price. (2) WESTERN ROSIE gets post relief after a string of outside starts and she was second three back at the $20K claiming level.

Race 2: F&M NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) ATREACHEROUS A has been rock-solid in three starts since arriving here from Ohio and though she moves up the latter again she seems fast enough and talented enough to handle it. (1) ULTIMATE SPEED gets much-needed post relief and just missed three and four back at this level. (4) LLOYD'S LOVES jogged on the front end in two straight but now faces better on the hike in class. Not saying she can't win but it won't be a cakewalk.

Race 3: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot
(1) UNEVERGONNAGETTHIS faces significantly softer here, lands the rail and hails from solid connections. Deserving favorite. (6) IMMANUEL K S steps back up a notch and should offer value after going off as the chalk in his last three. (3) P L OSCAR returns locally and was a good second last out at Pocono.
Race 4: NW5000 in last 5 starts Trot
(4) HOBBS returns to Yonkers and he's now in the Cory Stratton barn with Jordan driving. Most recent was a win at The Meadows and he faces a very shaky field here; I'm inclined to give him a try. (2) LIGHTFOOTEDLEGEND has done little since being claimed for $40K by Garcia-Herrera seven starts back. Brennan is back driving and he's had some success with the veteran. (6) PERRON is 0 for 21 and counting but he was a close third last start in a pretty fast time.
Race 5: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) BUCHANNON HANOVER drops, picks up Bartlett and faces a very camera-shy field here. Similar effort to the race two back at Monti will take this. (1) DONT JUDGE A BOOK is likely to try sailing down the road for William Mann. (4) EMINEM HANOVER has improved a bit as he's descended the class ladder.
Race 6: NW7500 in last 5 starts Trot
(1) BAR COINS was much the best last week in a NW5000 and the move up to this level doesn't figure to derail the Bongoirno trainee. (6) STREET GOSSIP has raced much better in his last couple of starts and he's got speed to get off the gate and find a good spot. (4) DYLADMAR has been an underachiever at 0 for 13 so far this season for Linda Toscano; I'm using underneath.
Race 7: F&M NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) GOLDEN QUEST N has tailed off somewhat after a strong run earlier in the year but the significant class relief can get this veteran back on the winning track. (6) BEE OKAY A picked up a nice win in just her second U.S. start and these connnections have had some success with these recent imports. (7) FADE OUT steps up again looking for three straight and last week was down the road from the eight hole. Not sure she can see the lead with the speed inside of her but she's got to be considered.
Race 8: F&M NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) PEMBROKE SOUTHIE had been racing well but coming up a bit short in the late stages prior to taking a month off and the Bongiorno trainee qualified nicely in winning from off the pace at The Meadowlands; maybe that freshening was good for her and she could be ready to roll here. (1) VILLAGE JADE was claimed away from Burke last start by the Dilloian, Jr. barn and I find that interesting. Bartlett gets the drive departing from the rail. (2) TRUE BLUE HANOVER finished well from off the pace last week; back to Holland.
Race 9: NW10411 in last 5 starts Trot
(3) EPOS OSTERVANG DK figures to be stalking (2) YANKS DUGOUT and maybe he has more late to get by at the better price of the two. The latter has loads of speed and class for the Burke barn and Joe B. will be heading down the road. (4) NO DRAMA PLEASE is drawn outside the top two which may limit him to a smaller share.

Race 10: F&M NW10951 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) MAGICAL MAYA A didn't make a significant impact in a few Yonkers starts earlier in the year but speed has been on display lately at Saratoga and Stalbaum figures to be flaunting it here departing from the rail. (4) MACHS LEGACY A was the choice last week and just missed at 11/1. Recent import steps up a notch but could have more to offer. (7) MISS DOTTIE MAE is a proven player at this level but unfortunately the post makes it tough. She'll be a big price, however.
Race 11: NW5011 in last 5 starts Pace
(8) BELMONT MAJOR N didn't really fire in his first start for the Dilloian barn after taking money but he faces a suspect field here on the drop to NW5000 and picks up the leading driver. Maybe we see a Bartlett blast from the eight hole. (1) GAMBLING TERROR finally lands a good inside post and should be in line for a live trip. (3) SHADOW CAT has plenty of back class and despite not picking up a check in his last three he wasn't beaten that badly in any of those tries. Drop also helps.
