Race 1: $25,000 Claiming Pace

(1) QUATRAIN BLUE CHIP hasn't had much to offer in any start for these connections but he gets major post relief tonight and faces a soft field with a shaky favorite; seems like now or never. (3) LYONS JOHNNYJNR was reclaimed by Daguet again and figures to be heading to the front but needs to show more late. (7) GOTHIC ROCK flashed speed last week to work out a trip and I expect Brennan to be forwardly placed again to give this gelding his best chance.

Race 2: $30,000 Claiming Pace

(4) MINGO JOEL has charged home stoutly in his last couple, and he won by a nose and lost by a nose. Garcia-Herrera trainee does face a couple of good ones to his inside but he may be close enough late to reach. (1) DIVISION BELL has been in a bit too tough recently but he drops back to a winning level. (3) STATEMENT MADE A had taken two straight since being claimed by these connections for $20K and now bumped to 30's the veteran has a big shot to win another.

Race 3: F&M NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace

(2) JIVE DANCING A failed to get involved in last week's Open as she was away near the back in a paceless race. Classy mare finds a much better spot here. (4) MCMARKLE SPARKLE also failed to make an impact in the same race as the top choice but she was solid in all prior efforts. (1) UPTOWN HANOVER is tough to endorse for the top spot at this level but she should be able to land a piece with a close-up trip.

Race 4: F&M NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace

(1) NATASHA had little chance in her local return but she did finish with willing pace. Mare has had success here in the past at the upper levels and the move all the way inside can make her a prominent player. (5) MILLWOOD BONNIE N has tailed off a bit recently but it's not like she's been bad, she just hasn't been winning. Tonight's class relief helps immensely. (2) IN THE SPOTLIGHT N gave way to a tough rival after being used on the front end last week; Brennan gets the call tonight and she figures to be close to the pace throughout.

Race 5: Can You Go The Distance Leg #3 Trot

(2) LINDSEY'S PRIDE jogged in round one of this series then was collared by the sharp pocket-rocket last week. Veteran trotter seems more reliable than others in here. (1) ABRUZZO was sent to the front last start but that didn't work out; prior off-the-pace efforts were good. (5) MEMO wired a softer division last week, should be forwardly placed again with Brennan on the return drive.

Race 6: $15,000 Claiming Pace

(5) MACH DORO A returned from time on the shelf at this reduced level and he's looked good in those two starts; Engblom trainee stays in for the same price looking to repeat. (1) MISSILE SEELSTER has picked up minor shares in every start since being claimed by these connections; he drops back down to the $15K level and the class relief with inside post makes him a major player. (2) FARMER'S TAN paced evenly last week but it seemed like he could have had more to offer. Now in his third start back from the layoff it's time to step it up.

Race 7: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(2) BALLARAT BOOMERANG plunges in class and jogged when last at this level; veteran is strictly the one to catch. (3) SETH HANOVER has also been facing better and should perk up a bit here. (5) THE REAL ONE will be gaining late, as usual.

Race 8: F&M Open Pace

(1) MAN DONTFORGET ME was overdue for a win and she took last week's drop in class to get it done. She's back up in class to the Open level and is more than capable on the front end or with clearance from the pocket. (2) LIT DE ROSE had zero chance last start but finished with her usual solid pace; Lachance trainee is the one to beat as the probable favorite. (5) KARMA SEELSTER is feeling good again as she goes for four straight but I can't see her getting as easy of a trip than she did through those recent wins.

Race 9: F&M NW15001 in last 5 starts Pace

(5) MISS CHANTILLY N was forced to come from off the pace last week after wiring the field in her three prior and she was loaded with pace finishing from behind dull cover. Lachance gets the catch-drive and that likely helps the price as Marohn bailed for #4. (4) OKINAWA BEACH A has gotten stronger in each of her three U.S. starts and she looms large here for the Bako barn. (1) MISS DOTTIE MAE finally lands an inside post and her early speed will be on display.

Race 10: Can You Go The Distance Leg #3 Trot

(1) GREY has been a consistent presence all season for the Alexander barn and she should be looking at a live trip here, potentially behind #3. (3) SMALLTOWNTHROWDOWN is as classy as they come and veteran even came from off the pace to score last week though I'm sure Siegelman wants to be in control of things tonight. (7) NEWSBOY rolled by easily from the pocket last week; though he won't be looking at that trip tonight he seems sharp enough to rally for a piece.

Race 11: $20,000 Claiming Pace

(2) MARINER SEELSTER is midway through his 14YO season and he has a chance to crack $100K for the third straight year. He's definitely not impossible here. (1) OURRHYTHMNBLUES N is a speedy type who hasn't been able to seal the deal recently and he also loses his regular driver Bartlett. He can win this, but don't take too short of a price. (4) SHANWAY N gets some needed post relief and Brennan will have him more involved.
