2026 MEET STATS: 133 - 402 / $769.21 (-$34.79) BEST BETS: 24 - 41 / $78.80 (-$3.20) BEST BET: E-PASS (2nd) SPOT PLAY: FRONT PAGE STORY (4th) Race 1: NW8521 in last 5 starts Trot (1) VINNY DE VIE lands the rail against a field that's more to his liking. Veteran trotter may be able to outlast the rest. (2) MY MAN PETER failed to get the job done last week at odds-on and will be one of the choices again as he drops another level. (4) I'M OUT dominated a soft field in the ultimate 'drop and pop' last start; quite often we see these types step back up and repeat but I'm not sold on him yet. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: NW10751 in last 5 starts Trot (3) E-PASS had a very useful initial Yonkers start as the Ohio shipper rallied for a board spot; with that race under his belt the Stafford trainee can move forward and threaten for the win. (2) MUSICAL RIDE isn't a prolific winner but the Lachance trainee has hit the board in three of his last four. (7) LUCKY MUM N was nailed on the wire last week (by #5 in here) but she can use her early speed to her advantage again and land up near the front again at a good price. Race 3: F&M NW17501 in last 5 starts Pace (1) AMBUSHED returned from a decent stint at Plainridge where she was competitive at their top level and she finished with pace here after being a non-factor most of the way. Should be all-systems-go for the mare with the drop and move inside. (5) SWEETNIKKILOU A faltered on the front end at odds-on in her local debut and just second start overall since arriving from Australia. Maybe she's better off stalking. (3) ELEKTRA A was clearly short in her first start after the long layoff and overall she's too classy to ignore. Race 4: F&M Invitational Pace (1) FRONT PAGE STORY is most dangerous a level or two down but she can beat these with the right stalking trip, or if well-rated on the front. Either of those scenarios are very likely tonight. (3) SILK CLOUD A has a post edge from midpack over some tough rivals and if Lauren Tritton is pushing from the gate it could dissuade outside leavers. (6) JENSVILLE A has done little wrong since arriving and the import was last week's Invite winner, but that was from the rail; now the script is flipped. Race 5: NW5726 in last 5 starts Trot (5) STMIKES KERRYBLUES has some early speed which could work in his favor in this very shaky bottom-level trot. (6) SEVENSHADESOFGREY was second best last week and also has always had early speed. He's 1 for 37 over the last couple of seasons yet remains a legit threat to beat these. (1) ALIMONY MIKE drops and draws best but has little current form; DiDomenico trainee gets a new driver as Brennan gets the call. Race 6: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot (3) OPTRIX is up significantly in class but is pretty sharp and faces no standouts here. At 20/1 on the ML I'll consider. (6) P L OSCAR won on the engine last week and figures to be hustled off the gate again. (5) GOO FOR BROKE pulled up after being charted with an equipment break in the FM Invite last out and now the Engblom trainee can drop a few levels. Maybe it's just me but it's always seemed like the Googoo Gaagaa offspring have had issues at Yonkers. Race 7: F&M NW11361 in last 5 starts Pace (2) CHEYRLS SHADOW is best when able to control the action up front, which is a likely scenario from this post at this level; top call. (3) LUCKY ARTIST A can be excused for last week's trip; 13YO also drops a notch and was a winner when last in this class. (1) JORDANNA HANOVER is less accomplished than the top two choices but the 4YO hasn't put in a poor effort all season and she seems to fit with these. We'll see how aggressive Holland can be trying to protect position into the first turn. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8: NW15751 in last 5 starts Trot (4) BESTFRIEND VOLO gets a new catch driver as Dan Dube takes the lines on the Takter trotter. He's been facing some good ones recently and back in January he was a winner here against a notch better. (5) OLIVER THE GREAT went a big try in defeat last week at Tioga and was competitive here in prior starts. (3) HOT FLASH KIMMY finally got needed class relief last start but drew the six hole and was only able to pick off a few. Post improvement helps for catch driver Ginsburg. Race 9: F&M NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace (5) YS SENSATIONALCITY is eligible for a class drop so she moves from her regular claimers to this conditioned field, and she finds herself in a new barn with Travis Alexander now listed. Big wakeup opportunity. (2) COACHELLABOUND N is another classy one trying desperately to wake up. Major post relief helps the cause. (1) BRONX MIXER doesn't win often but will represent herself well from the rail.
