Race 1: $15,000 Claiming Pace

(3) BLOOD BROTHER was outkicked off the gate last week after wiring the week prior but he rallied steadily for third; classy veteran has a post edge on his main rivals and he deserves top billing. (5) SHOREVIEW had pace in traffic last start and he does have early speed for a barn that's been live. (7) HEARTLANDBANYSBRO was well-meant in last but was outbattled by Picard A; he hadn't shown any early speed prior to last week so I'm concerned he may have some trouble getting near the front.

Race 2: F&M NW16051 in last 5 starts AE NW9 lifetime Pace

Good race for only six horses. (4) JIVE DANCING A dropped down in class last start and was a strong front-end winner with Siegelman picking up the drive, and he's listed again on the Garcia-Herrera trainee. Mare faces better now but could be sharp enough to repeat, especially with his tactical speed that can set her up nicely. (3) IN THE SPOTLIGHT N is a fresh shipper for Cullipher and she was a winner at Philly after coming from Indiana. Bartlett is always live with these types. (6) SILK CLOUD A was a winner for Pete Tritton in just her second U.S. start and clearly she could have more to offer.

Race 3: $25,000 Claiming Pace

(2) BRUSHING UP returns to Yonkers after going a tough trip at Philly in a conditioned claimer and his starts here weren't awful. He draws well in a field without a ton of current form and may be overlooked in the wagering as he's listed at 10/1. (4) MINGO JOEL drops back to the level of the claim four back, gets a bit of post improvement and Dube may try hustling him to the front. (3) MAJESTIC KIWI N has just been okay since being claimed for $15K by Blumenfeld but he also lands a better post and figures to be more involved.

Race 4: NW7753 in last 5 starts Pace

(4) GOTHIC ROCK has made nice moves in his last couple to land good shares and the Bucci trainee appears overdue for a return to the winner's circle. Though his last two were from off the pace he does have early speed as well. (7) GROOVY JOE looks to have found his stride out of town for Cullpiher and he's got plenty of back class. Gelding was a Borgata participant in 2022. (1) ONTO EL DORADO N is 0 for 15 and counting this year out of town but he definitely looks competitive time-wise.

Race 5: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace

(8) PROVOCATIVEPRINCEN was 96/1 last week from the eight hole but it looked like driver Siegelman had thoughts of leaving the gate. 13-year-old now drops to the basement to meet a mostly formless field and we know this veteran has early speed. Maybe new driver Kakaley takes a shot at a big price. (2) HYPNOTICDREAM is the most logical in here as he drops and has the leading driver, but he is still winless on the year and was just 3 for 39 in 2022. (3) GINGRAS BEACH is better than he looks and that was a good try last start at The Meadowlands.

Race 6: $20,000 Claiming Pace

(2) STATEMENT MADE A debuts for Garcia-Herrera off the claim and he's been solid in recent starts. Veteran does step up in price but so do a couple of other contenders in here. (1) HEART ON MY SLEEVE also goes for new connections off last week's strong pocket score and he's in line for another good trip. (5) SEAFARER was on the sidelines for an extended period of time but came back a winner in his first start back. Berkeley trainee was bet to odds-on again in his latest start but broke. He now drops to face much softer but seems too unreliable to back at a short price.

Race 7: F&M NW30000 in last 5 starts AE NW12 lifetime AE $75,000 Claiming Pace

(1) MILLWOOD BONNIE N has been a cash machine all season long and though she finished off the board last week she had plenty of finishing pace. Kakaley is back driving with Dube opting for #5 and she should be the one to catch. (3) JODY has never been one of my favorites but the Burke trainee was a solid second in her local return. (6) TONY'S MOM has much to prove as she steps up to face better, and she ends up with the worst post. Long win streak is in jeopardy tonight.

Race 8: F&M Open Handicap Pace; 1-4 drawn 5 assigned

(5) DELITFULCATHERIN N two-moved for command from the outside post last week when Bartlett catch-drove and she showed her class by stepping away late. Regular driver Stratton is back aboard and there's no reason why she can't repeat. (3) LIT DE ROSE got away last in the same race as the top choice and she never mounted a rally. Smaller field and improved post makes her a player again. (1) LUCKY ARTIST A has tailed off a bit but she should be able to save ground and pick up a piece.

Race 9: NW5000 in last 5 starts

(3) SAUVIGNON BLUECHIP was a winner in 1:55 1/5 last out at Monti and he's had success shipping in here in the past. Brennan is listed and he's won with this guy a couple of times. (2) G W T blew up on the lead last week at Saratoga but cruised the start prior for these connections. (8) STOP STARING returns to face much softer but he's burned a ton of money in his last three. If he's at least double-digits odds then perhaps he can be considered.

Race 10: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace

(6) ALLUNEEDISFAITH N jogged in his local return and the modest bump up in class shouldn't be a problem for this Bako-trained veteran. (2) BALLERAT BOOMERANG dropped and popped last week; he's also loaded with class. (3) ALEX TYE never seems to miss a week and we know he can go with these but he just needs a smooth trip and he'll come away with a share.
