2026 MEET STATS: 152 - 456 / $855.45 (-$56.55) BEST BETS: 27 - 47 / $88.20 (-$5.80) BEST BET: LYDEO (6th) SPOT PLAY: STAYINGWITHTHEWIND (8th) Race 1: $15,000 Claiming Pace (1) ROSE RUN ASTRO finally paid some dividends after that $20K base claim with the huge upset last week and he stays at the winning level; no reason he can't repeat. (7) SHINE A LIGHT's huge streak crashed and burned last start as he finally had to use a different driver with Bartlett unavailable; back to Bako with another driver in Holland and likely back to speed tactics. (6) COWBOY CARGO wasn't bad at all in his last two facing similar and is always a big price. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: NW7901 in last 5 starts Trot (4) KASHA V drops down to a level where he should be much more prominent throughout and this classy vet gets the call. (1) RADIO LAB finally lands a good post and it wouldn't surprise me to be Brennan trying to take this field down the road. I thought (5) E-PASS would be better last week but he only reached for third. Will he be better tonight? Race 3: F&M NW15611 in last 5 starts Pace (5) NILA MAREE N has made a nice living over the last few months at the NW20000 base level and now the Engblom trainee can drop to face softer; I'll hope Marohn is pushing forward in the early stages. (2) ELEKTRA A was better last week as she tries to recapture the form that saw her earn $135K last year. (3) YOULLFINDOUT is sharp and goes for three straight but faces tougher and more seasoned foes tonight. Race 4: NW5000 in last 5 starts Trot (3) LOOKATMEGOAMIGO was a winner three back in his return from the Midwest but not so good in his last two. Alexander trainee gets a new driver in his return to Yonkers with Kakaley back in the bike and he may never find a softer field. (4) STACKING GREEN also won three back but stunk it up in her last two. DiDomenico trainee won with a $40K base tag in that win last month but now tumbles to the optional $12,500 class; red flag? (5) HAT TRICK MARLEAU is 0 for 19 this year yet would have probably been the top pick had he drawn inside. Race 5: NW15661 in last 5 starts Trot (4) EXQUISITE TASTE has been consistent recently facing better for the Lachance barn and this tick down in class may be what she needs to get over the top. 4YO mare does have six wins already in 2026. (3) RITSON steps up again looking for three straight. (5) LEFTIES RIGHTIES returns from Philly to make just his fifth start of the year and he gets a new driver with Colin Kelly getting the call; deserves a look. Race 6: F&M NW11251 in last 5 starts Pace (1) LYDEO hasn't done a whole lot since returning locally earlier in the year but look who she's been facing. Veteran outclasses these and should sail down the road. (3) ELUSIVE A was more aggressively handled upon exiting the McIntyre series, where she was overmatched. (7) YS SENSATIONALCITY is the pick to sneak in for third at a thousand to one, simply because I always use her (and she is capable). Race 7: F&M NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace (2) JORDANNA HANOVER is a talented mare trying to find her way as a 4YO after willing 2 and 3YO seasons; maybe Holland puts her on the lead tonight and she can braven up late. (6) LUCKY ARTIST A is 3 for 13 this year and I think I had her the other ten times. She's 13 now and has been a solid, classy mare for a long time. (7) CHERYLS SHADOW needs to get off the gate for her best chance and I'm not sure if that's possible; consider if she projects to be an overlay price. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8: F&M Invitational Pace (4) STAYINGWITHTHEWIND has been razor sharp through her last four starts including a front-end win last out at Pocono. She lands a good post in the 3-thru-7 draw and can put her early speed to good use. (7) RASPALIA N has been super since arriving from Down Under and she's already going for her 11th win; Abbatiello trainee can do it from on or off the pace. (2) FRONT PAGE STORY always deserves consideration when she's on the inner half of the gate. Race 9: NW12446 in last 5 starts Trot (5) KHAOSAN ROAD moved to the Engblom barn for just her second start in 2026 and he was second best at Pocono after cutting the mile. (4) VINNY DE VIE is overdue for a win but a logical candidate to hit the board. Not sure what to say about (7) I'M OUT in last week's winning effort where he blew away the field in 1:54 1/5. Looking for a third straight open-lengths win.
