Race 1: F&M NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) TALENT TO SPARE A was off over a month before that recent Pocono start where she was not a threat but now she returns at a much-reduced level and figures to wake up. (4) SUGAR BRITCHES is another who drops and gets some important post relief for the live Engblom/Bartlett connections. (1) GAME OF SHADOWS was a winner when last at this level and she too gets major post relief.

Race 2: $30,000 Claiming Pace
(7) GENIUS MAN went on the lame list after being claimed by these connections but he qualified back with sharp late action and figures to be a price from this post; veteran has left the gate in the past. (2) OZONE BLUE CHIP gets major post relief in his second start for Bucci after the recent claim. (3) ALL ATTITUDE makes his second start for the Engblom barn and gets Bartlett in the bike from an improved post.
Race 3: F&M NW22261 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) ULTIMATE SPEED was a winner three back and then was fast-closing in his last two making it close at the wire. Alexander trainee gets a new driver in Holland, who is likely to be aggressive starting from the rail. (3) HELLO YES HI gets a free ride at this level off last week's pocket-sitting win. (2) PEMBROKE SOUTHIE set a legit clip on the engine last out and faltered late; Joe Bongiorno is back driving for his sister and the 4YO fits well here.
Race 4: F&M NW5041 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) WESTBEACH has been showing speed over at Pocono and she returns locally at the basement conditioned level; Lance Hudson trainee gets the leading driver in the bike and has beaten better here in the past. (5) ROCKNROLL ANNIE woke up with a better effort last week when dropped in class. (7) COWGIRL LILLY is 0 for 17 and counting this year but she's got plenty of back class.
Race 5: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot
(1) WARRIOR ONE is in a spot to take control early and go wire-to-wire as the chalk. (8) DULY RESOLVED has taken two straight in solid fashion including a career mark at Philly. Post presents an obvious problem but he will be a big price. (2) DIAMONTE TRIO IT gets tested a bit for class but she's sharp.
Race 6: F&M NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) TRUE BLUE HANOVER was a fringe player in the Matchmaker but then won easily when in a softer spot. From this improved post Holland should have a clear path to the front if he chooses. (4) DELITFULCATHERIN N steps back up a notch off a game win and the Gillis trainee is the class of the field; Stratton is back driving. (1) SALE EL SOL also was a non-factor in the Matchmaker then switched barns in her return to the overnight wars and picked up a couple of thirds; she's a board threat again.
Race 7: NW5000 in last 5 starts Trot
(4) FULL RIGHTS was bet down to the slight favorite last week when dropped to this level but he never got involved from post seven. Schnittker trainee can leave the gate which I expect him to do here. (1) DRACO S woke up with the recent drop in class and now he's down the ladder again with a good draw; gelding should be a major player. (3) IN MY DREAMS hasn't done a whole lot of late but he's got plenty of class to call upon.

Race 8: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) GRATIAN HANOVER may be showing his age a bit but he's reunited with Joe B. and faces a mostly camera-shy group; maybe. (3) ODDS ON PICK SIX raced well to be second best from a similar spot two back and that was with Brennan driving. (1) LONG WEEKEND A moves to the rail and picks up Bartlett; import has back class.
Race 9: NW10000 in last 5 starts Trot
(7) BONTONI DEGADO S is back with Brennan and the trotter already has six wins and over $75K banked at Yonkers this year. He needs a way to overcome the post but should offer an honest price. (2) BLACK TIE BASH drops, gets post relief and figures to be much more involved. (1) WILY WALLY has speed, the rail and Bartlett driving for Engblom but he lacks the class of others; using underneath.
