2026 MEET STATS: 122 - 356 / $688.79 (-$23.21) BEST BETS: 23 - 36 / $74.26 (+$2.26) BEST BET: STAYINGWITHTHEWIND (4th) SPOT PLAY: LAVA FIELD (6th) Race 1: $15,000 Claiming Pace (3) OZONE BLUE CHIP has tons of back class and the 12YO moves in to a more realistic post after two consecutive eight holes. (1) SURFSIDE BEACH also has had a string of bad posts but look two back from a reasonable starting spot...solid win. (8) BLACK HAWK JOE A was quickly reclaimed by the Adamczyk barn and was an odds-on winner last time for this outfit; is the eight hole a killer? [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: F&M NW6826 in last 5 starts Pace (5) BECA MITCHELL is in the midst of a form reversal as she's rallied for third in her last two after a long stretch where she didn't even pick up a check. I'm thinking if Kelly can get her in play earlier it will be enough to get her over the top. (3) TIME TO STRIKE finds a softer spot in her Yonkers return and gets an aggressive driver as Holland gets the call. (1) ODDS ON ACES FULL is still winless on the year but the DiDomenico trainee figures to go well from the rail. Race 3: NW10261 in last 5 starts Trot (1) SCUDO HANOVER has yet to win in 2026 through eight starts but he's hit the board in half of them and this is a perfect spot to stalk and roll by. (5) BRONZER added back the trotting hobbles last week and cruised versus a bit softer; sharp sort fits well here. (2) BJM'S LIL MAN aired it out on the front end last out and folded but his prior starts from off the pace were good; Buter is listed tonight. Race 4: F&M NW12681 in last 5 starts Pace (1) STAYINGWITHTHEWIND is still looking to recapture the form that won her four races and over $86K at Yonkers in 2025 but her last start with the class relief was a big step in the right direction; tonight she should be primed for the winning trip from the rail. (5) TH RIZZO steps up off a loss and loses Bartlett but the Engblom trainee was more than fast enough in her last two to make a big impression here. (2) ALWAYSBPUFFING IR faces some tougher and more seasoned competition after four wins and two seconds over her last six against NW lifetime types. Race 5: NW5076 in last 5 starts Trot I don't like that (5) HARD SEVEN broke in his half-mile return but he raced well after the miscue and if Takter sees fit to enter again here I'll assume the connections are confident he'll behave. (1) NO DRAMA PLEASE is coming off a sick scratch and it looks like his best days are behind him but I'm hopeful he can still be competitive starting from the rail in the lowest conditioned class. (3) INCANTATION was an easy winner when last in this NW5000 class. Race 6: NW7500 in last 5 starts Trot (6) LAVA FIELD seems to have perked up with the addition of Lasix and perhaps he can carry his speed a long way in here. (1) STREET GOSSIP has a post and class edge on these but also a poor win record over the last few years. Tough to envision him out of the money, however. (4) AIRMANS JACKPOT gets significant class relief for Lachance. Race 7: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot (7) TORRONE draws worst but he's got early speed and a driver who's not afraid to use it from outside posts. Price play? (2) CHAPHEART drops, draws better and is logical for the Stratton barn. (5) MADE OF DREAMS hails from the top barn and has hit the board in half of her 2026 tries. Loses Bartlett but that helps the price. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8: F&M NW25551 in last 5 starts Pace (4) FRONT PAGE STORY dropped and popped last week as the best bet and though that wasn't the most impressive race she's got the class to step up and come right back; price should be okay as well. (2) LYDEO should appreciate some class relief after being overmatched in recent stakes action. (8) LOOKSLIKEDIAMONDS A is perfect in two North American starts for the Shane Tritton barn but obviously she gets a big test tonight; Marohn subs for Lauren Tritton. Race 9: NW5000 in last 5 starts Trot (2) OPTRIX arrives from Pocono off a win at 20 cents on the dollar in their lowest conditioned class and he faces a very soft field in this low-end trot; Tom Jackson trainee picks up a catch driver with Marohn getting the call. (4) SAINTS PRESERVE US ships in off a win at Philly when second-time Lasix and the Fanning trainee deserves a long look. (6) DIAMONTE TRIO IT is clearly the classiest in here and was in the FM Invite just three starts ago.
