Race 1: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) GHOST DANCE hasn't shown anything this year but he wasn't terrible in his last two and he finds a pretty soft spot tonight. Could be worth a look at a price with Holland driving. (6) MAGRITTE has really hit the skids after being a winning machine a couple of months ago. Will he ever awaken? (1) DA GHETTO WIZARD was well-meant last week but had late traffic issues. What happened to (5) OUR MAJORDAN A? He can't seem to finish a race anymore.

Race 2: NW30000 in last 5 starts Trot
(1) FANATIC finished a close third to a couple of good rivals two back and a repeat of that effort can get it done here. (2) SECRET BRO gets some post relief and figures to be more involved. (4) THE LAST CHAPTER has solid early speed which can set him up with a live trip.
Race 3: $15,000 Claiming Pace
(4) BOURBANS COURAGE is another horse going from Fusco to Dowse in the hopes of awakening...sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Tough call. (2) SAFETY SECOND was outfinished late with a good trip last week; use caution at a short price. (3) P H KENNY almost posted a big upset last week; veteran is a contender.
Race 4: $12,500 Claiming Pace
(3) BLATANTLY BEST returns to Yonkers off a weak effort at Philly but his race two back was decent and he meets a very questionable field of four rivals; veteran is loaded with back class. (2) LOTTERY WINNER is very shaky, but capable; Kakaley returns. (4) BETTOR'S WESTERN arrives from Monticello and he picks up Stratton; maybe.
Race 5: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot
(4) MOSTINTERESTINGMAN faces softer and is reunited with Brennan; if he behaves himself he'll be tough to beat. (2) HUNTING AS has been going well recently without a win to show for it; he should be prominent throughout. (3) WINDSONG PIONEER has had some issues finding his rhythm this season after banking almost $100K last year; Stratton drives again.
Race 6: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(6) GLOBALDOMINATION N was used up in the early stages last week trying to protect position and gave way. Stratton is back driving and in this wide-open affair he will be a nice price from the outside post. Maybe with some action up front he can surprise. (1) WHITE HAIR ROCKS finished well last week and now draws best but he's got only one win over the last two seasons. (2) TURBO HILL gets needed post relief and may be cutting the mile.
Race 7: NW15445 in last 5 starts Trot
(3) MUSCLE JACK wired a field of $50K claimers in his first start for the Laterza barn then broke last start as the favorite. If he behaves tonight he should have an easy time making the front. (6) SWISS HOUSE ON FIRE went down stubbornly last week and the Bucci trainee is another speed player. (4) SWANSEA has had trouble finishing his miles which makes him a risky play but we know he's more than capable.

Race 8: Open Trot
(2) STORMY KROMER has three solid wins to his credit already this season and he inherits the best post with the early scratch of #1; In this abbreviated field he should prove very tough from either on the lead or in the pocket. (5) EUROBOND has been super this year (with the exception of one miscue) and he goes for four straight. (3) WARRIOR ONE is back in the Open after digging in gamely for the score over Hayek.
Race 9: $20,000 Claiming Pace
(3) IN SPADES took money from the outside post last week but never got involved; Dowse trainee drops back to the level of his last win. (6) URBAN RENEWAL was an upset winner last out and now goes to DiDomenico off the claim. (1) BLUEBERRY HEAVEN also goes for a new barn off a win and he does face a bit better; he can certainly land a share from this spot.
