Race 1: $20,000 Claiming Pace
(1) MARTY MONKHOUSER A was a good second last week after chasing the razor-sharp Mingo Joel; 14YO classmaster lands another good inside post and is the one to beat but don't accept too short of a price. (3) JK LUCKY CHARMS never got involved coming out of the same race as the top choice but two back he was aggressively handled and almost pulled it off at 35/1. As mentioned previously, the Garcia-Herrera barn has been very good recently. (5) DIVISION BELL took all the money but didn't fire in his last start, and now has missed a week; mixed feelings.

Race 2: F&M NW30000 in last 5 starts/Opt $75K Clm Pace
(4) MAN DONTFORGET ME is facing some very sharp rivals here but she's got plenty of class herself and she can leave the gate in a hurry. Kakaley's choice is due for some better racing luck. (5) PURE SILKY has hit the board in all 13 starts this year, with 7 wins. Bartlett bails for #6 but this versatile mare gets Stratton in the bike and deserves serious consideration. (1) MILLWOOD BONNIE N saw her win streak snapped last start when she couldn't reach Pure Silky but it was still a solid effort. Marohn gets the drive tonight and the mare can take control of things early.

Race 3: NW7681 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) LONG WEEKEND A finally put things together with a solid winning effort last week. Considering he was claimed for $50K six starts back he should have little trouble with the bump up to the base NW7500 class. (1) PRO BEACH drops and moves all the way inside looking for a wakeup call. Bartlett picks up the drive. (6) TUFFENUFTOWEARPINK raced very well last week when dropped to this level; Gillis/Stratton combo must be considered.
Race 4: F&M NW21451 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) EASY TO PLEASE has been a disappointment this season, including last week's loss when she dropped in class following the Matchmaker. I'll give her one more try, especially under the assumption that she will offer some value. (1) MCMARKLE SPARKLE managed to pick up a win at odds-on versus a notch lower second-time Engblom and she's the one to beat again with another inside post. (2) ANNABELLE HANOVER is a consistent sort who returns locally after a win at Pocono.
Race 5: $15,000 Claiming Pace
(2) HEART ON MY SLEEVE was stuck with poor posts in those last three Amateur events at Freehold but note he was a winner from a very similar spot here four back with Marohn driving. (3) LETTUCERIPRITA A has been solid for an extended period of time and for multiple trainers but he was scratched sick in his last one and now has missed a few weeks; use caution. (5) GOTAFOOLISHDESIRE woke up a bit with the drop to this level; consider for a share.
Race 6: NW5702 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) POINTOMYGRANSUN finished with mild pace in his local return and now drops and moves to the rail; classy veteran will be looking to blast down the road. (4) SHAKESPEARE also raced well to pick up minor shares from tough spots in his last two after arriving from Dover; Alexander trainee could be the main threat. (3) BETTER B SWIFT never got involved in his first start for these connections; maybe Bartlett gets him in play tonight.
Race 7: F&M NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) DARBY HANOVER has been facing better in all recent and the last time the Noel Daley mare was in this class she won easily at odds-on; Kakaley's choice of three in here. (1) ROCKNROLL ANNIE also drops a bit and is a major speed presence from the rail. (2) WESTBEACH figures to be saving ground somewhat close to the leaders and she can land a piece.

Race 8: $25,000 Claiming Pace
(1) GOTHIC ROCK has been a bit on the inconsistent side recently but he finished with plenty of late pace last week. Bucci trainee draws well and seems to have as good a shot as any in this competitive affair. (6) MACINTOSH N was gunned down near the wire last week but the 14YO veteran is still going strong and he has the speed to overcome the post. (3) SOUTHPORT BEACH lost last start to a classy rival who was dropping but it was still a good try; Bongiorno trainee is in for a tag tonight.
Race 9: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) LATE MAIL N has shown a bit of improvement since changing barns to Blumenfeld but it's hard to believe he's got only one on-the-board finish in 12 tries this year. This looks like a good spot for Kakaley to get aggressive off the gate. (5) GARDYS LEGACY A came up flat when asked to move from the pocket last week; Dilloian trainee has Bartlett driving again and seems capable of better. (3) IMSTAYNALIVE flew home two back but didn't last week chasing a faster pace; he can land a piece from this post.
