2026 MEET STATS: 102 - 297 / $582.61 (-$11.39) BEST BETS: 19 - 30 / $61.04 (+$1.04) BEST BET: LOUIES GIRL N (3rd) SPOT PLAY: VINNY DE VIE (8th) Race 1: MGM Ursula McIntyre Pacing Series Leg #5 (2) AARDIE B MIKI has battled through all four legs so far with just one win and she can work out a live trip here in this short field to tune up, get points and secure the final. (4) COASTAL BABE N took leg three off then was a touch short last week after setting a solid tempo; recent import is one of the top contenders heading into the last prelim. (1) TARAPASTA rated kindly last week but faltered; better price coming tonight despite landing the pole position. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: F&M NW6291 in last 5 starts Pace (4) THAT’S A HUGE BEACH has poor form to go on but she does move from claimers into this soft NW5000 class and the Laterza trainee does fit with these; maybe worth a look at a price. (2) FASHION TERROR returns from The Meadowlands off a win, gets Bartlett from a good post but she did break in her last Yonkers try. (5) ALTA MADIERA N faces softer in her local return and figures to be an off-the-pace threat. Race 3: MGM Ursula McIntyre Pacing Series Leg #5 Not only does (1) LOUIES GIRL N lead in points but she draws beat in a soft division of the final prelim and the Engblom trainee will be a very deserving short price. (3) WALKIN ON SUNSHINE has just been “okay” throughout the series finishing third in all four prelims; needs more late. (6) MILLWOOD BLISS N will be the most surprising finalist and seeks a third upset win in the series. Race 4: MGM Ursula McIntyre Pacing Series Leg #5 (3) SILK CLOUD A often needs a trip but she’s really stepped it up for the Tritton barn and is versatile enough to overcome different trip scenarios. (6) BATH BOMB is on the bubble and I wonder if McCarthy will take a shot firing early from the outside. (2) DOUGS BABE A is capable of winning on any given day and always offers value. Race 5: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot (4) OLIVER THE GREAT has clearly been knocking on the door with three straight runner-up finishes and she steps up another notch but doesn’t seem to face anyone she isn’t capable of beating. (3) SEA CAN won in his local return for Burke and gets Gingras now looking to repeat. (1) THE BRODSTER beat better three back the last time Bartlett drove; deserving favorite for top connections. Race 6: F&M NW22721 in last 5 starts Pace (7) JENSVILLE A was a professional winner in her U.S. debut for the Height barn and she gets to face much of the same tonight with the worst post being the only wrinkle; Andrew McCarthy catch drives again. (3) NILA MAREE B has lost her last three all at odds-on so I’m inclined to use her underneath again. (1) CHERYLS SHADOW was in a bit over her head in the McIntyre so she drops back to a more reasonable level; has missed a couple of weeks. Race 7: NW7671 in last 5 starts Trot (2) SUNDAY SHOES won easily in his debut for the Engblom barn coming from Canada then blew up before the start last week; I think he deserves another chance. (3) DIAMONTE TRIO IT drops a notch and has been competitive with better. (7) VOSS BLUE CHIP has looked much better since the hobbles were added but he does face a tall order coming from this spot but will be a big price; Gingras gets the drive on the Capone trainee. Race 8: NW10185 in last 5 starts Trot (4) VINNY DE VIE doesn’t win often but always gives an honest effort and the Fanning trainee has loads of back class. Veteran can leave the gate and this feels like a spot where regular driver Holland can take a shot off the wings. (1) IRA WHO was lost at the back last week but moves all the way in from the eight hole to the rail for the top connections of Bartlett and Engblom. (3) SCUDO HANOVER also gets much-needed post relief in his second local try. Last week in his Yonkers debut the 4YO finished willingly to pick up a check. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9: F&M NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace (2) LOOKLIKEDIAMONDS A is the latest Down-Under import for Shane and Lauren Tritton and like so many others before her she looks ready to roll at first asking. (1) LUCKY ARTIST A is just an uber-classy mare who seems to have found the fountain of youth. Bucci trainee steps up again looking for her third straight. (6) CHANCEOFLIGHTNING has also been razor-sharp for the Stratton barn but she does move to the outer half of the gate for the first time in a while. Race 10: NW5000 in last 5 starts Trot (4) THE HAZELTON was a heavy favorite last week and made a race-ending break in the first turn. I’ll give the Burke trainee another chance at an improved price. (5) ESCAPER is zero for four in 2026 after a super 4YO campaign that saw him finish first or second 22 times and earn over $163K. Alvarez trainee drops to the bottom and may be the one to catch. (2) VALI HANOVER was a winner two back at the NW5000 level; will need to step it up to notch another one but is a solid board candidate.
