2026 MEET STATS: 102 - 297 / $582.61 (-$11.39) BEST BETS: 19 - 30 / $61.04 (+$1.04) BEST BET: TARAPASTA (4th) SPOT PLAY: SUNDAY SHOES (3rd) Race 1: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace (4) BONDI SHAKE N returns from an extended stay at The Meadowlands where he generally paid the bills. Though a very camera-shy type he meets an equally win-deprived field where it will likely come down to the trip, so might as well look at a price. (6) FASTING added Lasix for his last start at Pocono but he came up empty. He was okay in a local stint earlier this year and it's hard to ignore these connections. (5) RYDINGTOTHEWIRE has a couple of wins at The Big M this season and was facing better in all recent starts for Team Tritton. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: MGM URSULA MCINTYRE F&M PACING SERIES LEG #4 (4) AARDIE B MIKI N was able to make the front from post seven last week despite only needing to go a prehistoric :28 3/5 to the quarter and she was a well-rated winner from there. Last year's champ will find it harder to make the lead tonight but if she can get the pocket behind #3 I'll take my chances late. (3) COASTAL BABE N is perfect in two stakes tries in very similar fashion -- wire-to-wire starting from the rail. The move out a couple of slots shouldn't be a problem. (2) SILK CLOUD A has raced well through three legs of the series and is in line for another good piece. Race 3: NW7500 in last 5 starts Trot (8) SUNDAY SHOES was a sharp winner in his Yonkers and Engblom debut. Steps up, draws worst but I'm sticking with him. (3) ESCAPER drops and draws better after an aggressive try; logical. (2) ENERGY KING drops from $40K claimers, has a new trainer listed but keeps Gingras. Three-time winner already this year. Race 4: MGM URSULA MCINTYRE F&M PACING SERIES LEG #4 (3) TARAPASTA has arguably never been better since the move to the Alexander barn and a third straight series win is well within reach from this spot. (2) HUNTRESS had nothing to offer last week trying to come from behind but she returns to Bartlett and can revert to speed tactics. (6) BATH BOMB needs points to keep the Final within reach so maybe McCarthy gets aggressive with her to get into play. Race 5: MGM URSULA MCINTYRE F&M PACING SERIES LEG #4 (2) ALWAYS BSTUNNING N has really impressed after giving this series a try for her New England connections and despite being a no-match second to favored Louie's Girl N last week she can turn the tables on her rival if kept closer to the lead. (5) LOUIES GIRL N blew them away in two of three McIntyre legs with a second to the top choice sandwiched in; Engblom mare remains a major player. (3) ROCKET DEO has come up short in all three legs but another sub-par effort from her can still be good enough to hold off the rest. Race 6: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot (6) MADE OF DREAMS recently added the hobbles and it seemed to make a difference in her local return as she finished a good second. Engblom 4YO mare seems overdue for a win. (4) PEDAL ON METAL was a winner two back with Siegelman and he's back driving tonight. (3) VINNY DE VIE generally races as well as he draws so if that holds true then the classy veteran can finished third. Race 7: NW10185 in last 5 starts Trot (5) OLIVER THE GREAT just missed in his last two -- last week at Yonkers and the prior start at Pocono. Seven-time winner from a season ago does seem overdue and should offer an honest price. (1) BAY BREEZE HANOVER has finished third in four consecutive starts and moves all the way inside; logical player. (2) DIAMONTE TRIO IT plunged from the Invite level but her prior start at NW15000 she was rather dull; needs to turn things around and won't offer any value. Race 8: F&M NW21484 in last 5 starts Pace (1) YS SENSATIONALCITY faces some legit talent in here, maybe the best she's seen in some time, but whenever she's drawn the rail her controlling speed comes into play and Siegelman can trip out with the veteran. (6) NILA MAREE N has raced well in her last two at this level but she failed to win either one and was 1/5 odds both times. (4) MISS PERIGNON N goes for three straight cannot be dismissed. (4) JENSVILLE A makes her North American debut for the Chris Height barn and the fresh imports always deserve major respect. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9: F&M NW11451 in last 5 starts Pace I missed the boat on (1) LUCKY ARTIST A last week and the ageless wonder has rounded into top form in her 13YO season; faces better but it's not like she hasn't beaten this type many times in the past. (3) JK PEARL STONE flew home from off the pace at The Meadowlands in her first two starts of her 4YO campaign and class-wise that should translate well here but the Dilloian Jr. trainee will probably be odds-on returning to Bartlett. (4) IM OFFNGONE N finished second from the pocket at this level two back. Not saying she sees that trip tonight but she's good enough to hit the board. Race 10: NW5861 in last 5 starts Trot (1) NO DRAMA PLEASE hasn't raced up to his classy standards yet this season but this is a great spot for Holland to take control and look to wire these. Worst case he's in the pocket to (2) THE HAZELTON, who is still winless this year has been facing much better; Gingras returns on the Burke trainee. (3) ENERGYSOURCE tried it from off the pace last week and finished up better than prior starts.
