Race 1: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace

(7) KEYSTONE DASH is a horse I've been following for a few weeks now and he's had some sneaky pace from tough spots. He lands another outside draw tonight but gets to face a bit softer and he seems capable with a little luck. (2) SO MANY ROADS rallied well last week coming out of the same race as the top one and the Lachance trainee should loom large from this spot. (4) SUMTHINBOUTIM woke up in a big way last start and he can build on that.

Race 2: 3-4YO $30,000 Claiming Pace

(1) CAVIART SARGENT put in two pretty solid efforts in defeat at Meadowlands and Philly after shipping up from Florida and the Nik Drennan trainee lands the best post in a pretty soft field. (6) MAJOR BEAN took a ton of money last week but was away slow and could not sustain a long uncovered move. Cory Stratton trainee moves back into age-restricted claimers and does seem to have the talent to be a player. (3) CONFIDENCE MAN didn't do much in the MGM Gents series but he had been racing well in prior starts; Bartlett gets the drive tonight.

Race 3: $20,000 Claiming Pace

(4) PACING MAJOR N has found a home at this level and the Pete Tritton-trained veteran should have his way with these. (3) ITSGOODTOBEDAKING had little to offer when dropped to this level but he was claimed out of that event; maybe that helps wake him up. (5) BAKERSFIELD has been pretty dull but he does pop up with a big effort once in a while.

Race 4: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(4) KILOWATT KID N dropped to the bottom last start, was sent to the front and did hold gamely to the wire; he bumps back up a notch and could trip out having drawn inside some of his main competition. (1) CINNAMACK has been aggressively handled in his last couple, with not very good results. Still, he does draw best and appears to have the talent to go with these. (8) MARK WITHA K is stuck in the eight hole with potential speed directly to his inside but he should offer a nice price if he can get involved.

Race 5: 2022 Blue Chip Matchmaker Mare FFA Leg #5 Pace

(1) MISS YOU N had no realistic chance of reaching last week when stuck in last most of the way but she now moves into a controlling spot and will look to head to the final with confidence. (4) BEST HEAD WEST has done little wrong in the series, except win. Mare should be in the thick of the action. (3) GIA'S SURREAL was outsprinted by a longshot last week and had to settle for second but it was still a good effort.

Race 6: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot

(2) HUNTING AS rallied well in his last couple and now faces a bit softer from an improved post. He was a winner from a very similar spot at the beginning of March. (4) KASHA V was put on the front last week and that's not his best game. Assuming the same tactics won't be employed tonight he should be close enough to reach late. (1) SWISS HOUSE ON FIRE is a speedy sort and the Bucci barn has been solid recently.

Race 7: 2022 Blue Chip Matchmaker Mare FFA Leg #5 Pace

(1) RACINE BELL took last week off and now will be a heavy favorite again in the last preliminary leg starting from the rail. (6) LIT DE ROSE added Lasix for last week's start and was a much-improved pocket-rocket winner. Lachance can fire off the gate and sit a trip to the top one. (4) BOLT OF BEAUTY has rallied very nicely in her three Matchmaker legs.

Race 8: NW30000 in last 5 starts Trot

(6) WARRIOR ONE tried to leave in last week's Open but was forced to take back and had traffic issues from there. Owner Gingras drives tonight and should have a clear path to the front. (2) HAYEK hasn't won yet this year but is seven for nine in the money and he figures to work out another good share tonight. (1) FANATIC is back from a couple of months off and may benefit from the freshening.

Race 9: 2022 Blue Chip Matchmaker Mare FFA Leg #5 Pace

(4) DRAMA ACT is back in for the fifth preliminary round and probably won't have to work all that hard to secure another win. (2) KARMA SEELSTER had a bit too far to come last week but now she moves back inside and looks second best from this spot. (1) MAN DONTFORGET ME tried it on the front end last start and that didn't work out; she was a solid second the start prior to Racine Bell.

Race 10: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace

(1) GINGRAS BEACH moves all the way inside while facing softer. Brennan may look to control the action for the hot Bucci outfit. (2) CRUZING HILL dropped from $50K claimers to NW7500 last week and converted a well-earned win from the eight hole. He can handle the bump in class. (4) ROCK LIGHTS never got involved off the Stratton claim but he moves inside a few spots.
