2026 MEET STATS: 45 - 138 / $234.21 (-$41.79) BEST BETS: 7 - 13 / $19.82 (-$6.18) BEST BET: ALWAYS A STORY (4th) SPOT PLAY: MUSICAL RIDE (6th) Race 1: F&M NW5846 in last 5 starts Pace (3) BIG CITY DAISY has been a victim of circumstance recently having drawn the worst post in her last two, but managed to rally for a check both times. Tonight the Laterza trainee drops in class and draws more reasonably so she should be much more alive. (7) MISS DOTTIE MAE also faces softer and certainly has the early speed to overcome the draw; Bartlett drives. (1) TALENT TO SPARE A is competitive at this level and will be sitting close. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: NW7500 in last 5 starts Trot (4) FATHER MIKE returns from Monti after a decent effort at their top level and he was second vs. $40K claimers the last time Bartlett drove. (5) B NICKING drops in class and does have early speed; with a good start he can be close up at a price. (2) DRAW THE LINE moves inside after an aggressive effort from the eight hole last week. Race 3: F&M Invitational Pace Looks like only five horses accepted the invitation for the chance to race for $35,000. (5) ROCKET DEO makes her seasonal debut off the strength of three winning qualifiers at The Meadowlands. Pelling trainee doesn't meet the toughest field here and has a legit chance to hit the ground running. (4) COASTAL BABE N took all the money last week and delivered; import looks to stay perfect in three state-side tries. (1) FRONT PAGE STORY does her best running a level or two down but she's more than talented enough to take home a good chunk of the purse. Race 4: NW11186 in last 5 starts Trot (2) ALWAYS A STORY has been much-improved since the move to the Bako barn and she gets to face a beatable field coming off a nose loss last week. Trotter won't offer any price but is clearly the one to beat. (4) DW'S POINT MAN folded last week but he's probably better coming from off the pace. Lachance trainee is classy and well-mannered. (1) THE HAZELTON finds a better spot here but is lacking much current form. Race 5: F&M NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace (8) WALKIN ON SUNSHINE was an easy winner in her 2026 debut and she ships back east to rejoin the Pelling barn. Now 6YO mare was a ridiculous 10 for 15 at Yonkers last year and only missed the board once, and most of those wins were at the top levels. She has to get the call here despite having to overcome the eight hole. (4) STAYINGWITHTHEWIND likely needed her last start, the first since last November; Kelly picks up the drive for Dilloian from a reasonable midpack post. (3) SHEZ THE REASON A has looked good since arriving for Garland and Steve Smith and the recent import can pick up a nice piece. Race 6: NW10000 in last 5 starts Trot (3) MUSICAL RIDE has been very consistent recently and the Lachance late runner should be a reasonable price with as good a shot as any on paper. (5) MON AMOUR has woken up in a big way over his last couple of races and a similar effort gives him a major chance. (4) SKY BOX has just been 'okay' since the $40K claim last month; needs a bit more. Race 7: F&M NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace (3) PETROL QUEEN is another Adamczyk trainee on the card who has turned things around in her last few efforts and she faces a bit better here looking for another off-the-pace score. (4) TH RIZZO is the most logical here for top connections as she's been live since adding Lasix. "Logical" and "top connections" means overbet and likely odds-on, however. (2) PRESSURE COOKER should be part of the early mix and sitting no worse than third when the dust settles; Toscano trainee can pick up a share. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8: NW5000 in last 5 starts Trot (4) HALFADOZEN added back the trotting hobbles and stayed flat in a mile over at The Meadowlands. 4YO mare obviously has ability based on the $147K earned as a youngster for co-owner (and now trainer) Dan Dube and meets a pretty dull field in her Yonkers return. (1) ENERGYSOURCE was an easy winner in his last race at this NW5000 level. (5) BE DIFFERENT has been better in his last couple as he tries to recapture some of his old glory. Bartlett gets the catch drive which means he'll attract plenty of attention at the windows. Race 9: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace (4) BETTOR BY SEASIDE makes his third start since the Stratton claim and last week was a better effort. Perhaps he's ready to take another step forward at what promises to be a decent price. (2) STAY GROUNDED returns locally for the Noel Daley but he's never had a ton of success here and he'll take a ton of money. (8) FASTING gets to face a mostly easier field but must do it from the eight hole.
