2026 MEET STATS: 30 - 100 / $149.26 (-$50.74) BEST BETS: 6 - 10 / $17.42 (-$2.58) BEST BET: MAYBEMABEL (7th) SPOT PLAY: TORRONE (6th) Race 1: NW6281 in last 5 starts Trot (4) PAYBACK MONI arrives from the Meadows changing hands to the proven team of co-owner/driver Yannick Gingras and trainer Per Engblom. 4YO is eligible for the bottom conditioned class and looks like an automatic play here. (1) MR KNOWITALL drops, moves inside and keeps the catch-driving Bartlett. Gelding doesn't have the most imposing resume but figures to be a major player. (5) PC FREE WHEELING earned over $113K last year and is better than she's been showing recently. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: NW7500 in last 5 starts Trot (8) KASHA V added the trotting hobbles and jogged first start out with the new equipment. Classy veteran steps up and draws worst but will be a solid price as a result and is capable with some improvement of position off the gate. (3) DRAW THE LINE drops and draws better which is a winning proposition for a horse with just three wins over the past year. (2) SEVENSHADESOFGREY has early speed and will be staying close to the front; can hold on for a share. Race 3: F&M NW5526 in last 5 starts Pace (4) BRONX MIXER was highly regarded enough as a youngster that co-owner/trainer Schnittker sent her out to Indiana for some stakes action last season. That didn't work out but she's back in the overnight wars and gets a major driver change to the catch-driving Buter. (7) REMY BROWN N ships in from The Meadowlands for Cassar and gets a switch to Bartlett. She'll very likely be moving forward off the gate. (1) PREMIER DESIREY makes her seasonal debut in a new barn and looks like a good fit with these. Race 4: F&M NW24701 in last 5 starts Pace (4) COASTAL BABE N meets some legit talent in her first start arriving from Australia but the Bako trainee lures Bartlett off a winning qualifier and is a must-use. (5) SILK CLOUD A miscued late last week which ended up demoting her from the winner's spot back to second. That keeps her at the same level and as a major speed threat. (1) COACHELLABOUND N has been a player here at these upper levels for years and could be ready for more in her third start of the season. Race 5: F&M NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace (3) GLITTERING HOPE gained well last week to finish second and is a proven winner in her young career at 10 for 37 lifetime. She faces a group here where many are just getting underway in 2026 so this may be a good spot to grab a win. (2) AMBUSHED found an easy spot to convert for her first seasonal win and the Stratton trainee has the back class to handle the step up the ladder. (1) ZUMA BEACH made her first start of the year three weeks after her qualifiers and now is back off another moderate gap in the timeline. Harris trainee was 4 for 4 here last year with Bartlett driving. Race 6: NW10201 in last 5 starts Trot (1) TORRONE is back at the friendly confines of Yonkers Raceway and was a winner when last at this level; Holland picks up the drive and generally does well for this barn. (3) AUSTRAL HANOVER failed to last in his last two; new driver in Gingras and needs to show more late. (4) EMPIRE BUILDER recently arrived from Ohio and has raced well in two starts for Monticello-based trainer Daniel Gill. Race 7: F&M NW8131 in last 5 starts Pace (6) MAYBEMABEL has plenty of catching up to do in the class department but she jogged in her first start for these connections and probably has more to offer; co-owner Gingras is in the bike. (1) BONITAS BEST BET failed to convert in last week's drop in class for the Burke barn which isn't used to only clicking at 10% on the win end; beatable chalk? (4) TOBAGO TIME technically drops in class as she's been in straight $25K claimers and there's an AE condition in this race for $15K's. Veteran hasn't been at her best of late. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot (4) DIAMONTE TRIO IT threw in steps last out after being forwardly placed again; overall her form has been good and the Alexander trainee switches back to Kakaley. (2) SKY BOX was an interesting $40K claim out of his last race, one where he raced well to be second best; picks up Buter in debut for Bako barn. (3) CHULO finds a better spot to make his second start since last September; never been a fan of this guy (so that means if you're considering him then double-up on your bet). Race 9: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace There's a hunch play tri box in here of Casino Action, Texas Holdem and Dealers Choice (get it?) but I'll take a stab with (1) AVENGER FORCE, who seems to be searching for the right track and classification for struggling connections, and may have found it here from the rail at the lowest level. He was aggressively handled last week at Pocono and had a few decent efforts at YR last year. (5) DREAMBOAT HANOVER woke up somewhat last start with the class relief out of town and he showed some ability as a 2 and 3YO. (2) CASINO ACTION N drops again, draws well, picks up the leading driver.
