Obvious favorite but no lock. (4) MEETMEATTHEBAR lands a better post and will be much more involved. (5) SEVENSHADESOFGREY has lots of back class and gets Bartlett for his first start since last November. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: F&M NW7501 in last 5 starts Pace (4) LAURIE LEE drops in class from $50K claimers to this softer spot, draws a much more reasonable post and returns to Bartlett. Veteran has early speed when needed and we're likely to see it tonight. (1) ULTIMATE SPEED steps up off a loss but should be primed for a stalking trip and can hold her ground late. (3) SPIRIT OF PEARL A will try to build off that recent win for the Stratton barn. Race 3: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot (4) QUEEN OF ALL has put together two consecutive solid performances and with her back class stepping up to face a bit better shouldn't be a major problem. (1) MON AMOUR was lost at the rear last week against better but he drops to the level of his last win and moves all the way inside. (3) AUSTRAL HANOVER flattened in last week's quick mile but he drops down and the 11-time winner from a season ago is more than capable of beating these. Race 4: F&M NW10861 in last 5 starts Pace (6) PRESSURE COOKER drops for now the third consecutive start and the Toscano trainee has beaten better than these in the past; mare faces a rather flat field and I'm thinking Marohn may be able to get off the gate with her. (5) MALUKA MISS N popped from well off the pace last out in her first start with a new trainer listed; sharp sort can be considered for the repeat. (3) BONITAS BEST BET has also beaten better than these in the past and the Burke trainee finds a softer spot but will offer zero value. Bartlett subs here for regular driver Gingras. Race 5: NW10000 in last 5 starts Trot (5) BAY BREEZE HANOVER steps up to face better looking for her third straight score; barn has been live including a big winner the other night. (7) OURMOMENTINTIME was a good second in her local debut and that's two straight live effort for this lightly-raced Engblom trainee; she loses Bartlett and draws poorly but should be a big price. (8) LAFERRARIDMANCHE S was a winner in her U.S. debut at The Meadowlands for the Harris barn and now they bring her over to the half-mile, so I assume they think she will be good to go on the smaller track. Main problem here is having the eight hole as the ML favorite. Race 6: F&M NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace (1) SCHNAPPS is a risky play with her ugly-looking lines and recent breaks over the Yonkers surface but she finished with pace in that last local effort and she faces a very shaky field here. (3) I'M A BELIEVER was outgamed at 3/5 last start but it was her closest finish in a couple of months. (2) QUICK MENU draws a good post and has raced well at Yonkers over the last year or so; new driver tonight with Dube getting the call. Race 7: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace (1) JETT STAR N returns locally off a couple of live efforts at Saratoga and the Cushing trainee did go 4 for 15 here last year. (2) SIP OF BOURBON draws a much better post at this lowest conditioned level and he seems primed to show more making his fourth seasonal start. (3) FUNATTHEBEACH N looks like a shell of his former self and though he's getting major post relief and picks up Bartlett it's tough to predict what kind of effort he puts in. Race 8: F&M NW17501 in last 5 starts Pace (3) NILA MAREE N passed last week's test with flying colors and gets to stay at a similar level; recent import looks to stay perfect. (2) IM OFFNGONE N gets post relief making her second start for the Alexander barn. (5) ZUMA BEACH was 4 for 4 here last year but hasn't raced since the end of last March; Med qualifiers were good. Maybe she doubles up at another price. (1) COACHELLABOUND N is one of a few Bucci trainees making their returns and she's got the rail coming off a winning qualifier. (3) TURN THE PAGE N qualified up at Monti in preparation for her 2026 debut and the Cushing trainee is a legit talent. Race 10: NW7500 in last 5 starts Trot (4) BUSY MAKING MONI has yet to win this year for the Burke barn but he takes a significant drop in class and an effort similar to his last two should be enough to handle these. (3) BUDDY EARL steps up off a solid win in his local return; loses Bartlett to the top choice, however. (1) WINDSONG PIONEER figures to stay close from this starting spot.
