Yonkers: Analysis for Friday 2/12

MEET STATS: 25 - 70 / $115.70 (-$24.30)
BEST BETS: 4 - 7 / $13.90 (-$0.10)
Best Bet: SWANSEA (9th)
Spot Play: YANKEE ROLLER A (5th)
Race 1: $12,500 Claiming Pace
(3) SEELEY MAN was trapped in most of the way last week, his first start for new connections off the claim. He's back at the $12,500 level and is sharp enough to take this with smooth sailing. (2) RECORD YEAR was claimed for $15K three back and has a win and a second at that level. Why is DiDomenico dropping him in price tonight? (8) ROCK ON LINE ships from Jersey and seems to be a good fit here but is stuck all the way outside; maybe he can add some value to the bottom of the ticket.

Race 2: NW20000 in last 5 starts Trot
(3) FASHION CREDITOR finished willingly last week after chasing a couple of classy rivals and he picks up Bartlett tonight facing a bit softer. (4) JACK VERNON never got involved last out at The Meadowlands and was racing well at one of the top levels at Dover prior to that; veteran should go well here. (5) AFTER ALL PAUL could be a closing threat it he has decent numbers to run at.

Race 3: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(7) SOHO LEVIATHAN A was favored last out facing better and flattened after battling for the lead. Outside post does him no favors here but the price should be decent in a race with plenty of question marks. (1) AMERICAN ZEST A figures to be aggressively handled by Stalbaum and could be the one to catch. (5) MCARDLES LIGHTNING has been very camera shy with just one win over the last year-plus; veteran should be included but it's tough to use him on top.
Race 4: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(6) BABES DIG ME raced well in that "no contest" race last Friday and Bartlett's choice has plenty of back class to call upon. (5) MACHEASY A takes a needed drop in class after facing significantly better in all recent. (4) SPORTS BETTOR raced well to be second best when dropped to this level and he's certainly a prime contender here.
Race 5: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(7) YANKEE ROLLER A was crushed at the windows at last week's race that ultimately didn't exist and he did win that marred affair easily; Burke trainee finds a pretty soft field and seems the one to beat. (1) SUNKEN TREASURE was second best chasing Highland Tartan around the track in his 2021 debut and the Temming charge can build off that effort. (5) FEELING CAM LUCKY hasn't done very well in his two races this year but was a 1:51 4/5 winner at Philly to close out 2020; he's got some early speed.
Race 6: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(6) PEPPER GUY was used pretty hard in the early stages last week and got leg-weary late; he's shown solid closing kick in the past and he can reach here with a live trip. (5) GINGRAS BEACH qualified effectively in preparation for his 4-year-old season and the Bucci trainee should fit well here. (2) IN SPADES was a good second last out to a horse who came back to win again.
Race 7: Open Handicap Trot
(2) LINDSEY'S PRIDE jogged in his debut for the Travis Alexander barn and while he gets seriously tested for class tonight he may be sharp enough to get it done and the price should be decent in this wide-open affair. (7) LEAN HANOVER has been super in his last few for Toscano; trip is uncertain tonight but he has to be considered. (6) STORMY KROMER snuck over to the Meadowlands last week and upset at 15/1; he gets a new pilot tonight in Siegelman and his early speed always makes him a player.
Race 8: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) CAMPORA N steps up in class off a couple of losses but he finds a pretty soft NW7500 field and he should be within striking distance throughout. (1) LUCIANO N gets Kakaley in the bike with Holland opting elsewhere and he's got plenty of speed from the best post. (2) SANTAFE'S COACH was okay last week on the dropdown and he may be favored here; tough to love him at a short price.

Race 9: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot
(5) SWANSEA was aggressively handled facing better in his in his second start off the bench and he looked good entering the stretch but he fell apart late; DiDomenico trainee figures to be a bit tighter tonight and should get the job done. (2) CASH ME OUT has been coming up short lately but this classy millionaire figures to turn things around sooner rather than later. (7) KINDA LUCKY LINDY was solid in victory last out; he faces better now from an outside post but he could be a closing threat.
Race 10: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) MAGRITTE blew away a weak NW5000 field last week and while he obviously faces tougher here he's been competitive with this type in the past; sharp sort seems capable of repeating. (4) FULLBACK isn't the most consistent sort but he was a solid second last out. (2) LAKE CHARLES makes his 4-year-old debut off a pair of winning qualifiers but he may need a start or two.
