Race 1: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(5) THE REAL ONE drops to a new low at this NW7500 level but it's not like he's going badly and needs a wakeup call, he just needs a favorable trip and he'll draw away late. (2) PROVOCATIVEPRINCEN hasn't done much lately but he takes a needed drop from claimers and he's still got the good tactical speed. (4) AIR FORCE HANOVER has been underachieving of late but he has hit the ticket in his last three tries at this level.

Race 2: F&M NW30496 in last 5 starts Pace

(4) ROCKNROLL ANNIE has been right there in all recent starts as she's worked her way up the class ladder from the NW5000 level. She does have some speed inside of her but if she can secure the front she may be tough to catch. (5) MORNING HAS BROKEN was awful two back and no factor in last week's race but she gets Bartlett back in the bike and is definitely eligible to show improvement. (1) BABS JANSEN figures to be right up near the front by virtue of her rail draw.

Race 3: $15,000 Claiming Pace

(2) CASHNCAM has been unable to convert in his last few but there have been some excuses mixed in. Gelding moves back inside and faces no standouts. (1) KIMANI N tried to rally from too far back and flattened late as the pace was slowing in last week's effort but he was claimed out of that race by Cory Stratton and stays at a level where he's had proven success. (8) CAROLINA MAGIC would likely be a big favorite had he drawn inside but he's stuck in the eight hole looking for two straight and five of eight. Need a price to use on top.

Race 4: $25,000 Claiming Pace

(3) STATE SENATOR returned locally from Plainridge last week and came home sharply from post eight, taking advantage of the tiring leaders. Devita trainee makes plenty of sense from this spot tonight but note he has a case of 'seconditis' as he's finished in the place slot 10 times this year. (1) AMERICAN WIGGLE was used hard in the early stages in his first for Shane Tritton then gave way under harsh pressure; he figures to have an easier time of it tonight. (5) SHARK PLAY upset many of these with that 87/1 win last Friday and he's certainly capable of repeating with a similar trip.

Race 5: $15,000 Claiming Pace

(5) MARTY MONKHOUSER A drops in class for the third consecutive start and the 13-year-old now finds himself at the $15K claiming level but I'm confident he's still got some life left in those legs; would love to see him rebound here. (3) ACES ROCK enjoyed an easy trip last week but he did kick home strongly for the win showing vast improvement. He should be a player here. (7) PICARD A could not last after an eight-hole speed try but he's back in on consecutive weeks and we'll see how aggressive Kakaley is.

Race 6: F&M NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace

(4) DRAGON ROLL was an odds-on winner last week on the drop in class and he pretty much gets a free ride tonight. Braxton Boyd picks up the drive on the classy mare. (2) SOUTHWIND JAVA finished very well to be within a neck of the top choice and the filly could have more to offer. (5) TECHYS ANGEL A toured the track last week in a needed start and now she drops and draws a bit better; include.

Race 7: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace

(1) EHRMANTROUT is accustomed to facing much better than these and should have little trouble winning at odds-on. (5) DEAL THE CARDS was an okay third last week at The Meadowlands and a bit more improvement can land him a nice share. (2) BETTER B SWIFT took five weeks off and qualified back nicely with Holland in the bike.

Race 8: F&M Open Handicap Pace

(3) LIT DE ROSE has taken three straight in decisive fashion and she lands another good post by winning the '3 through 8' draw; Lachance may be able to get away with a comfortable pace again and control these wire to wire. (6) DELITFULCATHERIN N did the best she could last week but only managed third after grinding a long way; she has more than proven herself as a legit Open mare with numerous victories at this top level. (8) HOT MESS EXPRESS took some time to get going in her 4-year-old season but the Sam Bowie-owned mare has been razor sharp at Hoosier; we'll see how that translates as she moves to the half-mile (and is stuck in post eight).

Race 9: F&M NW20301 in last 5 starts Pace

(7) BEST HEAD WEST gets an interesting driver change to Bartlett and I wouldn't be surprised at all to see this classy mare firing hard from the gate. (2) MAN DONTFORGET ME had to settle for the dead-heat win last week but she lands another good inside post and should be live again. (4) DISARONNO HILL rated kindly and won easily last start; she faces better here but could compete for a share.

Race 10: $20,000 Claiming Pace

(2) JOJO'S PLACE drops a notch to face softer and draws well again; veteran faces a shaky field here and is reunited with Bartlett. (6) DAVIDS COMING HOME has been underachieving but Braxton Boyd drives tonight and he's got a knack for sneaking in there with longshots. (8) ROCKINMYSHOE has done very little since arriving from Northfield but he too gets some class relief and maybe Stratton takes a shot off the gate.
