2025 MEET STATS: 7 - 20 / $105.60 (+$65.60)…double-checked, that is correct! BEST BETS: 2 -2 / $6.10 (+$2.10) BEST BET: VILLAGE JADE (3rd) SPOT PLAY: YNOTTHISHOS (1st) Race 1: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace (2) YNOTTHISHOS returns to Yonkers at a reduced level than he's been accustomed to locally and he gets a notable driver change to Gingras off last week's aggressive try at The Meadowlands. (5) ALTA CLASSIC A has stayed busy over the holiday break and he too is used to facing better. (3) ST LADS BEAT IT makes his third start for the Hunter Oakes barn and he's shown some improvement since arriving from Canada. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot (2) SAINT K makes his seasonal debut for the DiDomenico barn off a solid 2024 where he won eight races, including two for four at Yonkers. Brennan is back aboard from a post where he can get aggressive. (6) LAVA FIELD returns locally off a huge upset score at The Meadowlands and the Cullipher barn has already sent out a two live ones over the first couple of nights. (1) SEVENSHADESOFGREY is a proven entity at this level and he picks up Bartlett from the rail. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: F&M NW10131 in last 5 starts Pace Trainer Doug Dilloian Jr. has been on fire to start the 2024 season so that makes this veteran mare (2) VILLAGE JADE routine selecting, especially from the good post. (7) PEMBROKE SOUTHIE regained her form in a big way over her last two Meadowlands starts; only problem here is overcoming the post. (3) VIBRANCE is a steady commodity from Burke but she gets a new driver in Marohn as the listed pilot Gingras owns #6. Race 4: NW7500 in last 5 starts Trot (5) EYE OFA TIGER AS has been showing little lately in Ohio so the connections send the now 11YO back to Yonkers where he was a killer in his younger days. Lorentzon trainee is closing in on a million lifetime. (4) CHINESE WHISPER N was clearly tons the best in his last two up at Monticello as he drew off both times after long grinds. Maybe the Cushing trainee can carry that form back locally. (2) NO TURNING BACK has some early speed and a good draw. Race 5: F&M NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace (3) LUCKY ARTIST A has a significant class edge on most of these and she's done well over the last few months with Steve Smith at the controls. At the NW7500 level this veteran should get the job done. (5) CALLMEQUEENBEE A hasn't been at the top of her game recently so after a 39 start season maybe the five weeks off will help the cause. She does have early speed at her disposal. (2) ALTA MADIERA N is another logical one in here but she's sometimes camera-shy locally so I'll stick her underneath. Race 6: NW10000 in last 5 starts Trot (7) TEXSONG SOPRANO won her last two races of the season by a combined 19 lengths and figures to be ready to go off the freshening. He looks tough despite the outside post. (3) WINDSONG PIONEER was a solid second in last week's Big M qualifier and he can add some value to the exotics. (1) SEVEN SINS makes his return to Yonkers off a win across the river and hails from the live Cullipher barn. Race 7: F&M NW18666 in last 5 starts Pace (6) COACHELLABOUND N is a multiple-time Open winner here and she returns from The Meadowlands after getting nipped late by a good one. Bartlett's choice over an Engblom trainee. (3) EASY TO PLEASE bounced back with a nice 2024 season and we'll see if the Stratton trainee is ready to fire first start off the holiday break. (1) ATREACHEROUS A has shown major improvement since moving to this barn but she'll be tested for class tonight. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8: NW5000 in last 5 starts Trot This is a pretty forgettable field of bottom-level trotters so maybe (7) ARCHERY SEELSTER can surprise. He's been just okay in two starts since joining the Cullipher barn but he did show some speed in that last Freehold race and Bartlett picks up the drive (his eighth different driver in his last eight starts). (1) RODEO HILL is logical speed from the rail but he's been unreliable and won't offer much of a price. (6) FULL STRENGTH has been awful recently but he was bet down to 2/1 in his last Yonkers start, though he broke. Jordan is back driving for his brother. Race 9: F&M NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace (6) WHO'S PERFECT makes her Yonkers debut for the Engblom barn with a notable upgrade to Bartlett. 4-year-old has been searching for the right classification and maybe she's found it here against a formless field. (2) HUNTING LINDY was facing better when last here and she is 6 for 22 locally over the last couple of seasons. (3) WOODMERE HARRIET was just 1 for 18 at Yonkers over the same time period but she raced well here prior to departing for The Meadowlands.
