Race 1: $15,000 Claiming Pace
(3) BETTOR CAT is two for two since the DiDomenico claim, wearing down the speed and drawing off with ease in both wins; clearly a similar effort nets him another victory, though at a short price. (2) IN THE HUDDLE gets Kakaley back in the bike and this veteran will be on or near the lead. (1) CASINO BAGS ANSO hasn't done much in his last three but he was an easy winner versus similar four back and maybe he shows some improvement with the barn change.

Race 2: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) JESSE DUKE N was taken for $50K two back so I assume the idea was that he would be able to breeze through these lower-conditioned events. Last start wasn't bad from the seven hole and now he moves inside. Chalky DiDomenico daily double looming? (6) SOUTHWIND ONYX was claimed last week by the hot Cory Stratton barn and he seems capable of a wakeup call. (1) FLYINGEVENBETTOR N is 0 for 17 and counting so how short of a price do we accept?

Race 3: 3&4YO $30,000 Claiming Pace
(6) DA GHETTO WIZARD showed vast improvement two back despite ultimately getting bottomed out by the winner, then he added Lasix and romped. Bongiorno trainee can take another here. (5) BET ON BLAKE has been very consistent since arriving for the Dowse barn and he should be on the move early. (1) ROCKIN JUKEBOX ships up from Delaware and joins the Peter Tritton barn; definitely one to keep an eye on.
Race 4: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot
(8) YANKS DUGOUT arrived from Northfield a few weeks ago, landed in the Burke barn and has shown plenty of promise in two local starts; 4-year-old seems to have a legit chance of overcoming the awful post to make it two in a row, and should offer a decent price. (4) EYE OFA TIGER AS was very disappointing last out; we know he's much better than that. (1) GREY never got involved in his last start but now the speedy mare draws all the way inside and she'll be disputing the early pace.
Race 5: $20,000 Claiming Pace
(4) TITANIUM N had a listed trainer change for his last start and he wasn't all that bad. Veteran does have a touch of back class and Bartlett drives again. (3) LETTUCERIPRITA A has been much-improved since the DiDomenico claim; deserving favorite. (2) BRANDON HANOVER missed a neck last start versus similar and he figures to be close up throughout.
Race 6: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) SOUTHWIND MOROCCAN takes a needed drop to the lowest conditioned level and he gets away from the eight hole, where he started from in his last two races. Erv Miller trainee should go well here. (1) WHITE HAIR ROCKS just missed last out in a good try, but the fact remains that he’s now 0 for 37 and counting on the year. (4) ALEPPO HANOVER lands in a more realistic spot tonight; definite contender.
Race 7: NW32500 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) CASH ME OUT is in the midst of another solid season at age 10 and he draws best in his return from Saratoga. Bongiorno will likely be looking to take this field down the road. (3) BARRY BLACK is another rock-solid 10-year-old veteran and the French import from a few years back lands in a pretty good spot. (5) HUNTING AS double-jumps in class but he’s been sharp and should be closing late.
Race 8: 3&4YO $30,000 Claiming Pace
(5) KEYSTONE DASH hasn't fired at all in his last few but he drops from the age-conditioned $50's to the $30's and Bongiorno is back driving. They teamed up for a big win six back from a similar spot. (1) CENTURY GRIZZLY has raced very well in his last two starts in this class and he can work out a live trip from this post. (4) MR KELLY has been pretty consistent of late and he also drops back down in class.
Race 9: Open Handicap Trot
(4) CHAPTIAMA had no chance last start when he trailed throughout with a rated pace up front. Stratton gets the catch drive on the Smedshammer trainee from a pretty good post. (3) WARRIOR ONE was very good last start, where he almost ran down (8) MELADY’S MONET. The latter goes for win #17 tonight, but he'll have to do it from his assigned eight hole.
Race 10: 3&4YO $30,000 Claiming Pace
(2) HEART ON MY SLEEVE now has two acclimating starts and the Team Stratton gelding may be ready to show more, especially from this good inside post. (1) TERRITORY raced well in his last couple for board spots at the NW7500 level and though he hasn't won in quite some time he still seems like one of the major players in here. (7) FOOLISH PROPHET returns from Batavia Downs and he does have a 1:52 4/5 life mark taken here a couple of months back.
Race 11: NW20000 in last 5 starts Trot
(2) NEXTROUNDSONME has been saddled with outside posts in his last few and he's finished with good trot in all recent efforts. Jenny Melander trainee finally draws well and we'll see if he's good enough. (1) ROCK OF CASHEL has been unable to replicate that super effort from four back but the drop in class should help this classy 11-year-old. (3) CHAMPAGNE ON ICE gets needed class and post relief and promises to be more involved.
Race 12: $12,500 Claiming Pace
(3) DL'S BIG ELVIS flashed some mild closing pace in his two starts since being claimed by these connections. Uncertain what the trip will be in this field full of question marks but young driver Luke Hanners has shown a knack for being in the right place at the right time. (1) FURIOUS BEACH was second best three back to In the Huddle, who was a sharp winner that night. (4) FASHIONONTHEBEACH was awful last start when pulled from the three hole; who knows what to expect tonight.
