Race 1: NW5149 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) PROVOCATIVEPRINCEN may not be the most logical in here as he was soundly beaten last start by a few he sees again tonight but Bartlett picks up the drive and he's coaxed more speed out this veteran in the past. (1) MY UNTIMATE STAR A enjoyed an easy trip last week to be second best but it was a much-improved effort. (2) AIR FORCE HANOVER seems overdue for a win but disappoints more often than he delivers, no matter what level he's at.

Race 2: $15,000 Claiming Pace
(5) MARTY MONKHOUSER A improved with a second-place finish last week and the oldtimer may have found a home at this reduced level; he's still got the early speed to make him a major player. (2) VEL LARRY raced very well last out despite tiring in the stretch drive and now he drops from the 20's to the 15's and draws well; definitely worth considering. (7) PICARD A had too far to come last week and while he does land outside again we may see Kakaley push a little harder off the gate.

Race 3: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) ROCKIN JUKEBOX drops in class, gets needed post relief and Bartlett is driving; this barn has been doing better lately as well. (3) EHRMANTRAUT drew away late last week on the drop and pop; he's classy enough to handle a bit better. (2) WINDSUN RICKY drops in class for the fourth consecutive start looking for a wakeup call.
Race 4: $25,000 Claiming Pace
(1) MARINER SEELSTER has had back-to-back strong seasons with close to $300K earned in total; he's at a reduced level coming off a short break and an even qualifier, and he finds an easy spot. (3) SULLIVAN saved ground and finished third when dropped to this level and he draws well enough again to make an impact. (2) KENRICK N has missed a bit of time with a recent sick scratch but he was a close second from a similar spot last month.
Race 5: F&M NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) KATYS DELIGHT has been much-improved since shipping down from Canada and joining the Bako barn; mare is up in class for the fourth consecutive week as she's making money and perhaps she can trip out from this good inside post. (5) DC BATGIRL drops to the level where she's proven the most successful and she picks up Stratton tonight. (1) GINGER TREE LIZ usually gives a good effort when she draws the rail; Bartlett did win with her two back at the NW7500 level.
Race 6: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) DA GHETTO WIZARD had no chance in his local return but managed to pick up a check; Boyd drives again from an improved post for a barn that has success here with limited starters. (6) BLUEBIRD RECON has done absolutely nothing since being claimed a couple of months back for $50K but he finds his way to the basement and he used to have some early speed; maybe Holland tries an aggressive approach. (1) MOONLIGHT SHADOW has also been a failure after being claimed for $40K; rail draw and Bartlett should help things.
Race 7: $20,000 Claiming Pace
(7) APEX SEELSTER was a winner in his last start and meets a field with mostly dismal form; sharp sort can repeat. (3) ROCK N TONY was second best to a runaway from a similar spot two back; similar effort lands him a nice share here. (4) UNDERTAKER went evenly in a recent local qualifier and this barn has done well of late.
Race 8: F&M NW32476 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) DELITFULCATHERIN N had good finishing pace last week but never had a chance after the winner walked to the half; she gets post relief as she drops from the Open and goes back to Stratton; lots to like here. (3) DRAGON ROLL is forced to face better after winning at odds-on in her last two starts at a significantly lower level but she's a legit Open-quality mare who should contend here. (6) UPTOWN HANOVER held well for a board spot last week and Bartlett drives again.

Race 9: F&M NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) VILLAGE JADE raced very well last week in her local return but she came up a bit short from the pocket; Burke-trained 4YO looks like the one in here with a similar effort. (1) ANDRA DAY gets significant class relief as the drops from the Open ranks and the Alexander trainee clearly looms large from this spot. (5) ROCKNROLL ANNIE gave it a big try on the front end last week but was run over by the charging Morning Has Broken; she could be trouble if she makes the front again.
Race 10: $15,000 Claiming Pace
(3) REYS N A RUCKUS was aggressively handled last week upon shipping in but he came up a bit short at 51/1. He'll take action tonight but still should offer some value and he can win this with a similar effort. (4) SPORTS BETTOR just missed in his last two facing similar, one race here and one at Dover; Brennan is back driving the DiDomenico trainee. (1) TOATSMYGOATS has had a pretty good season up at Monti considering the 10-year-old missed practically all of 2021. Veteran faces better but has speed, the rail and Bartlett.
