Race 1: F&M NW15411 in last 5 starts Pace

(5) PASS AND STOW stepped up to this class last week and edged by a fellow 3-year-old from the pocket making it three straight since arriving from Canada. Tonight she probably plays the role of favorite facing pretty much the same competition. (1) VIBRANCE hasn't won in a while but has been a consistent presence for the Burke barn; Kakaley picks up the drive tonight and from the rail she's an obvious contender. (7) SWEET GAL was 1/9 odds when caught by #5 last week, ending her streak; now landing outside she'll offer much more value.

Race 2: F&M NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(7) JENDEN STRIKE A trailed throughout in a quick mile last week at The Meadowlands but she's back at Yonkers with a class reprieve and a catch driver in Holland. Outside post is tough but if she can get off the gate in good order she's capable of the upset. (1) AWESOME HILL arrives from Canada where she's done little in three starts after being off a year; now in the Engblom barn she picks up Bartlett but for an unknown quantity she may be overbet. (3) RAPTORS WON had late pace last week and a similar ground-saving trip can land her a piece.

Race 3: NW5000 in last 5 starts Trot

(2) SWISS HOUSE ONFIRE gets another new driver with Kakaley and also has class plus post relief; Bucci trainee is a five-time winner here this year and faces some questionable rivals. (5) TEXSONG SOPRANO was facing much better when last at Yonkers and he too has won multiple times at Yonkers in 2024; Bartlett is back driving and they have gotten along well together. (3) RODEO HILL may have had some trot in traffic last week; another contender.

Race 4: F&M NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace

(3) BEE OKAY A is a perfect two-for-two since the barn change to Engblom and she returns from Philly into a spot where Bartlett can get aggressive. (4) FRONT PAGE STORY makes her second start for Lachance and faces softer than she's accustomed to. (5) PASS LINE is a talented 3-year-old filly for Burke but she does give up a seasoning edge to others in here.

Race 5: NW10616 in last 5 starts Trot

(4) SEA CAN returns locally and is 7 for 9 in the money with four wins this year at Yonkers. Gingras drives the Burke trainee from a reasonable post. (6) SEVENSHADESOFGREY has raced pretty well in his last three facing one notch higher and figures to offer plenty of value here. (2) DW'S POINT MAN has a solid local record for Lachance and is overdue for a win.

Race 6: F&M NW15551 in last 5 starts Pace

(4) RACEY RACH N returns from Plainridge and rejoins the Burke outfit, and she picked up a couple of wins here earlier this season. She's squeezed into this condition and as we know this barn is great at moving horses around and classifying well. (1) WASTED ON YOU has been just okay since shipping in but maybe she perks up with the change to Stratton. (7) DONEGAL SPIRIT is another filly on this card tackling more seasoned foes so it's sometimes hard to gauge how they fit. This Harris trainee was a Breeders Crown entrant and wasn't far off in the elim at a big price.

Race 7: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot

(1) ROSE RUN XTRA arrives from Delaware and moves into the Dilloian, Jr barn; trotter lands the rail off a sharp qualifier and Bartlett drives again. (5) BONATI DEGATO S jogged last week after rating an easy pace; steps up a notch trying to repeat. (4) ALL WRAPPED UP has been dominating in the Preferreds up at Rideau and now he ships in to join the Bongiorno barn. Missed time may be a concern.

Race 8: F&M NW31411 in last 5 starts Pace

(3) CHERYLS SHADOW has been holding her own recently at the Invite level and has good speed at her disposal from a decent post, though she's versatile enough to strike from off the pace as well. (1) DRAGONS LUCKY LADY finds a much more reasonable spot and returns to Bartlett. Will she be controlling the action? (4) EASY TO PLEASE is wrapping up a nice bounce-back season for the Stratton barn and she's clearly more than capable of taking this, but often needs a trip.

Race 9: F&M NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace

(2) WHATINEEDISAMAN just missed last week in her return to the Engblom barn and she was rock-solid for these connections earlier this season. (1) COWGIRL LILLY is just 1 for 41 on the season and faltered on the front end in her local return; at least it was an improved effort and she should be in line for a live trip. (8) OKINAWA BEACH A finds her way down to the lowest conditioned level and she's beaten way better in the past but the eight hole may be her downfall.
