Race 1: $12,500 Claiming Pace

(3) PEMBROKE JOEY returns to Yonkers off a blowout 1:55 4/5 score up at Monti and he lands a good enough post here where he can work out a winning trip. (4) HIGHVIEW CONALL N has been a bit inconsistent lately but he gets Bartlett driving again and the veteran is more than capable with this type. (6) ZOEEZ BOY HENRY moves to the Jenn Bongiorno barn after Andrew Harris got little out of him; I suppose he's capable of improvement.

Race 2: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot

(1) MOSTINTERESTINGMAN hasn't been bad at all recently and now he gets to drop in class; classy trotter is clearly the one to beat here. (5) NEW HEAVEN also finds a softer spot here and his last win did come with Holland in the bike. (7) MONEY MAVEN lands outside but could sneak into the number at a price.

Race 3: $15,000 Claiming Pace

(3) CONTROL TOWER seems to have found a home at this $15K claiming level and the DiDomenico trainee looks for two in a row tonight with Bongiorno subbing for Brennan. (6) P H KENNY has raced well in all five starts since returning to Yonkers; he steps up a notch in price but doesn't meet the strongest field and he looms a player. (2) RECORD YEAR was outfinished in the late stages last start but he gets another crack at it with Bartlett driving from a good post.

Race 4: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace

(4) WARDAN EXPRESS A took money last week on the drop in class but never got close in what ended up being a fast mile; he lands in a more favorable spot tonight and picks up Bartlett. (6) KEPT UNDER WRAPS A came on way too late last week and ended up third as the favorite; he had shown speed in prior starts so maybe Lachance can try getting a little more aggressive with this one. (7) SHOREVIEW also has good early speed but has had trouble finishing his miles recently.

Race 5: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace

(3) CINNABAR DRAGON took a more aggressive approach on the class drop last week but could not reach the well-rated winner; a similar effort can get the job done versus these. (4) WALKINSHAW N probably needed last week's start where he never got involved from the outside post after missing a bit of time due to sickness; Lance Hudson trainee can be tighter tonight. (6) THISJETSABOOKIN gets Stratton in the bike and he does have back class; consider for a piece at a price.

Race 6: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace

(7) BENHOPE RULZ N drops down to the bottom conditioned level and the Cassar trainee should awaken despite the outside post. (3) ARCHANGEL THREE disappointed a bit last start but he also gets class relief and will be a player here. (2) PARKLANE JET returns from The Meadowlands and lands a nice inside post.

Race 7: Open Handicap Trot

(7) STORMY KROMER took a well-deserved week off after two consecutive blowout wins and he deserves top billing again despite landing outside. (3) BROADWAY ATHENA has been solid in every start for Garcia-Herrera since arriving at Yonkers; player. (6) MELADY’S MONET can never be counted out and with the speed signed on in here he should be making up ground late.

Race 8: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(2) BLAISE MM HANOVER was uncovered into a rated pace in his local return and was shaken off late; he tries Stratton tonight from a good inside starting spot and the classy veteran is more than capable with this type. (1) ARQUE HANOVER has never been one of my favorites but he was third best two back before having no chance last week; he can threaten from the rail. (3) ITSONLYROCKNROLL A gets Siegelman catch-driving tonight for Stalbaum; maybe that can step him up a bit.

Race 9: NW16100 in last 5 starts Trot

(3) CASH ME OUT was a well-rated winner last week and would be no surprise if he doubled-up despite facing some legit competition. (2) OBRIGADO was used making the front last start and wilted under pressure; he moves back inside and is a threat to take these the distance with Simon Allard driving. (7) HOMER HALL bumped up to the Open level last week, took money but didn't fire; prior start the Shane Tritton trainee was out a long way and still edged clear.

Race 10: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(1) HORSING AROUND blasted down the road beating lesser in 1:52 4/5 over an off track; he can repeat despite stepping up a notch. (2) ORILLIA JOE and (4) BETTING EXCHANGE are also a couple of classy veteran geldings looking to repeat and neither would be a surprise.
