Race 1: F&M NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(6) TRUE BLUE HANOVER failed last week at very short odds and now moves to a more unfavorable post but I'll be stubborn and stick with her at what will be a much better price. (3) PARISIAN BLUE CHIP woke up with a better effort last out and now drops another class; Yannick picks up the drive. (5) MILLWOOD BONNIE N also faces softer here and the veteran is tough to ignore; Kakaley figures to have her forwardly placed from this midpack post.

Race 2: NW7529 in last 5 starts Trot
(2) ALL STAR SWAN dropped from claimers into this softer conditioned class last week and the Engblom trainee was outgamed in a good try. Mare will rightfully attract plenty of attention at the windows as a similar effort will get it done. (1) B NICKING is a threat to take this field wire to wire but needs to come up with more in the late stages. (8) BLACK TIE BASH returns locally for Lachance and is a great fit with this type but starts from the dreaded eight hole; perhaps he can pick up a piece at a big price.

Race 3: NW5000 in last 5 starts Trot
(1) CREATIVE VENTURE is not all that creative of a selection as the likely favorite but he moves to the rail after having three consecutive eight holes and also drops again. Trotter will be looking to trip out likely from just off the pace. (5) THE LAST CHAPTER was the pick last week and almost held on; classy veteran has the early speed to make the front without too much trouble. (2) BAZILLIONAIRE was third best from a similar spot two back and a similar effort can net him a piece.
Race 4: MGM Grand Prix Trotting Series Leg 3
(1) IT'S ACADEMIC just has too much class for these and with nemesis (6) ARI FERRARI J drawing the outermost post again it makes the path to the winner's circle easy again. The latter was able to make the front last week before releasing the top choice, so I have to assume the trip will be similar here. (5) BESTFRIEND VOLO has overall had a strong season and he did have early speed in the first two rounds of the series. I wonder if Kakaley is going to take the same approach tonight.
Race 5: F&M NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
I'm not thrilled about picking another favorite but (2) TWO PISTOL ANNIE seems to stand out on paper after two solid efforts from poor posts since being claimed by the Shane Tritton barn. Tonight she moves further inside and picks up the leading driver. (1) NIKASA N has been holding her own in all recent starts and figures to be in line for a good trip here. (8) WASTED ON YOU is a talented filly and I assume Trainer Virgil Morgan Jr. thinks she'll fit well here as he ships her in from his Midwest base but this is a tough spot to make her local debut so I'll only consider underneath.
Race 6: MGM Grand Prix Trotting Series Leg 3
(5) TAKE ALL COMERS has been solid in all recent efforts and that was a well-deserved win last week over #2. Stratton figures to be firing her towards the front again. (2) CHAPERCRAZ settled for second last out after winning his two prior; good matchup again. Can anyone upset the top two? (3) TACTICAL MOUNDS took a lot of money into the top two last week but broke; now she may be ignored in the wagering.
Race 7: F&M NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(7) BEE OKAY A gets a barn change here to Engblom which means Bartlett gets the call. Let's see if she improves enough to find the winner's circle. (2) TEAM COLORS drops off a decent try last out and the Stratton mare draws well again. (3) SUNBURNT also gets some class relief and also an improved post; she figures to be more involved tonight.
Race 8: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot
(2) BEERTHIRTY K is generally competitive with this type and he moves inside off a decent try last out. With most of the speed in this race towards the outside of the gate he can settle into a nice stalking spot and should be an honest price. (5) CRAZYLAND is back at Yonkers off a failed try at Philly and he was a sharp winner versus a bit lesser two back. (8) ROYALTY BEER has burned a ton of money since arriving from Canada but now the price will be there from the far outside. Lachance trainee pushes hard from the gate every start.

Race 9: F&M NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) DRAGONS LUCKY LADY is back in fighting form and she figures to be first one to the lead from this spot; Engblom trainee should be no worse than the pocket and I'll take my chances from there. (1) EASY TO PLEASE is also back in top shape as she's been right there in her last four and the Stratton trainee looms large from the rail. (4) GOLDEN QUEST N is another very classy veteran and it would be no surprise to see her repeat. Not sure what to make of the listed trainer change however.
Race 10: NW10001 in last 5 starts Trot
(4) WARRIOR ONE hasn't been finishing well over the last few months but this former Open winner faces the softest field he's seen in some time and owner Gingras is back in the bike. Candidate to wire these. (1) SAINT K was a winner first out for DiDomenico then broke last week at Philly which is a bit concerning, but if he minds his manners he figures to trip out behind the top one. (2) AQUARIUS FACE S will attract attention due to his connections and his recent European action but he hasn't won in over two years and I need to see more before I endorse him.
