Fanning trainee scored at odds-on when last at this level from a similar inside post. (5) B NICKING has that early speed that can set him up on or close to the lead and despite faltering on the front end the last two starts any horse that's going to be forwardly placed has to be considered. (1) ENERGYSOURCE broke last week when picked to finish in the money. Only 1 for 28 this year but finished third 10 times. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: F&M NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace (3) LOUIES GIRL N showed last week that being scratched sick recently and off some time didn't bother her at all as she cruised at 25 cents on the dollar. Loses Bartlett (who is absent early on the card) and faces better but I think she has another level or two in her. (2) FRONT PAGE STORY had no chance in last week's Invite as they walked to the half but has been right there in all recent races when drawn well. Lachance trainee is a major player. (4) ACUSHLA MACHREE N got the job done in her third North American start and gets a real test tonight. Race 3: F&M NW15621 in last 5 starts Pace (5) LUCKY ARTIST A faces better and is outside her main competition but this classy mare is feeling good again and we've seen her string multiple wins together while ascending the class ladder many times in the past. (4) DOUGS BABE A takes a major drop from the top level and is the deserving favorite but she's disappointed in the past when expected to win. (1) MALUKA MISS N steps up level despite not having a recent win but she can stay close from the rail. Race 4: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace (1) THE MIKI TAKER A drops to the basement conditioned level in his third start for the Tritton barn after arriving from Australia. She seems ready to break through. (6) MR PROFETA returns to Yonkers for the first time in years off a sick scratch and not much of a seasonal record but he's in a new barn tonight with a new driver in Holland. There is an angle here with the new surroundings so maybe he wakes up a little at a gigantic price. (2) HUNGRY ANGEL BOY also returns locally and that race two back at Pocono was solid. Race 5: NW7500 in last 5 starts Trot (1) JIMBARAN ZON S qualified effectively at Philly after a couple of recent breaks at the start and anytime Dube is driving for Svanstedt he deserves serious respect. (3) KINDA LUCKY LINDY takes a significant drop in class and also lands the best post he's seen in months. (2) LUCKY MUM N raced very well in his last couple and the Bucci trainee is overdue for a win. Race 6: NW15461 in last 5 starts Trot (2) LEGACY AFFAIR shipped from Ohio and joined the Burke barn then broke on the lead in his initial try. The mare hadn't had recent problems over the half and I'm willing to bet they now have the kinks worked out; deserves another chance, especially with the post edge on most of these. (7) KIERKEGAARD K is another Svanstedt trainee shipping in and picking up Dube; he won two races here as a 3YO and almost certainly will be forwardly placed off the gate. (6) AQUARIUS FACE S just missed last week versus a notch higher in class and he was a winner from a similar spot a couple of months ago. Race 7: F&M NW20001 in last 5 starts Pace (5) TURN THE PAGE N is a quality mare to begin with and now she goes from Cushing to Bartlett; lock city? (4) MACHS LEGACY A had to come from off the pace last week and was okay in the stepped-up back half. She's left in all prior starts and can revert to those tactics from this spot. (7) CHERYLS SHADOW can go with these but faces an almost impossible task tonight. Maybe she picks up a piece from off the pace at a big price. (6) MYBITCOIN double-drops for Lachance and is eligible to show more. (1) IDEAL SKIES perked up a bit last start at Pocono and that was her first good effort since returning east from Running Aces; maybe she can build off that positive outing. Race 9: NW5000 in last 5 starts Trot Jason Bartlett picks up another drive on a classy veteran, this time on the dropping trotter (1) BARN HALL, who figures to control things from the rail. The late all-Bartlett pick three could pay $5 but sometimes we have to take what they give you. (3) FULL RIGHTS showed improvement last week at a big price when finishing third.
