Race 1: $15,000 Claiming Pace

I thought (2) MOXLEY was worth a try in the age-conditioned claimers and he did flash some speed but proved overmatched; he's back at a more effective level and Jordan is back driving. (4) BETTOR CAT goes for DiDomenico now off the claim and gets Brennan to drive; contender. (1) EFFRONTE A is very tough to endorse because he's simply been awful recently; can he turn things around?

Race 2: $12,500 Claiming Pace

(8) TEXAS TERROR N is clearly sharpest in here, despite tiring on the front end last start facing better; classy veteran knows how to get the job done. (4) TASTE OF HISTORY has progressively been getting better and is overdue for a win. (1) MILITARY MASTER A returns locally, fits with these and his driver Morales III is capable.

Race 3: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(4) MCERLEAN has looked very sharp in his last two and the oldtimer with a million dollars in the bank should be an appealing price as he goes for three straight. (3) SIR PUGSLEY was run over by Ziggy Sky when odds-on in his local return; Bako trainee should be better than that. (7) PADUKA N came off a five month break and won in 1:53 3/5 at Freehold with Brennan driving.

Race 4: 3&4YO $30,000 Claiming Pace

(1) WHAT THE LUCK goes for a relatively unknown barn off the claim but he draws best off a decent second-place finish upon arrival from Northfield. (7) IMMA BE got stuck in the eight hole in both local starts after shipping from Ohio and he had no realistic chance; he drops in for a tag tonight and we'll see if Brennan can get him in play. (6) DA GHETTO WIZARD hails from the Jenn Bongiorno barn and is worth a look.

Race 5: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot

(5) CAVILL HANOVER has taken a liking to the Yonkers surface since shipping in with three good efforts. He's up in class again but faces no standouts. (2) SEVENTIER was a bit cold on the board last start and didn't fire at all; Smedshammer trainee deserves another chance. (3) FULL RIGHTS needs more late stamina but he's consistently a board threat.

Race 6: $20,000 Claiming Pace

(3) STARK HANOVER was run over by the sharp trip-sitter last start and overall he's been good since hitting town; he has a new home now in the Alexander barn and Kakaley picks up the drive. (1) I GET THAT goes for Devita now off the claim and draws best after a disappointing effort last start as the odds-on favorite. (2) RISKY MILLION rallied decently in his last couple but he shows little early speed and may face an uncertain trip.

Race 7: NW20000 in last 5 starts Trot

(7) NEXTROUNDSONME was a good second two back and finished well from too far back in his last start; Jenny Melander trainee absolutely fits with these and seems worth taking a stab. (4) A FANCY FACE had no visible excuse in her two starts since returning to Yonkers; don't accept too short of a price. (3) MAGIC VACATION is a bona fide speed threat from this spot.

Race 8: 3&4YO $30,000 Claiming Pace

(4) BET ON BLAKE and (5) NEXT BIG THING were both a bit ambitiously placed at the $50K level and they came up short. This is a better spot for both and I'll give a slight edge to #4 who seems to have more pure speed. (7) MANHOLMES has been racing very well up at Saratoga for the Beckwith family.

Race 9: Open Handicap Trot

(2) CHAPTIAMA was too far back to threaten last week but he switches back to Brennan and moves inside; Smedshammer trainee is the one to beat. (8) MELADY'S MONET goes for three straight and may be as sharp as he's even been. (6) CHAMPAGNE ON ICE broke after leaving last week when bet down to the favorite. Price goes up tonight.

Race 10: 3&4YO $50,000 Claiming Pace

(3) MR KELLY came up second best from the pocket in his last two and the Burke trainee figures to be on the lead or just in behind from this spot. (1) LL MYSTRO picked up a check from the eight hole last week and the Bongiorno trainee moves all the way inside tonight; player. (2) LOU'S SWEETREVENGE has been a consistent player in all recent and now moves to the Daguet barn off the claim; we'll see if he can maintain his good form.

Race 11: NW30000 in last 5 starts Trot

(6) FASHION CREDITOR was quite disappointing last week considering how good the classy veteran was in prior starts. He did miss a bit of time prior to that effort and now he's back in on consecutive weeks. Definitely not impossible. (5) WARRIOR ONE was third best in last week's Open and the Burke trainee should go well here. (4) STICK WITH ME KID was a clear second from the pocket for his new barn after the $50K claim; he faces better here but could land a share with smooth sailing.

Race 12: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace

(1) DRACARYS Z ships in from The Meadows and is now in the Ed Hart barn, which has been doing good things of late. (5) ITSMYCHECK GB is an interesting shipper who leaves one of the top barns at Northfield and joins the rapidly-growing Cory Stratton stable; brother Jordan drives. (2) P L LEEROY was lost at the back last week at Freehold but the recent addition to the Jenn Bongiorno barn was a winner at Philly the start prior.
