Race 1: F&M NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) MACHS LEGACY A doesn't have a ton of current form, but neither do any of these, that's why they are in the lowest conditioned class. New driver in Napolitano, maybe that helps. (2) MILLWOOD BONNIE N was odds-on last week with no rally; class mare is likely to take the money again from this easier spot. (1) WHATINEEDISAMAN was second best from a similar spot four back; Laterza trainee may be revved up for an aggressive try from the rail.

Race 2: NW5000 in last 5 starts Trot
(2) PASSIONATE PROMISE was a competitive $40K claimer not too long ago and did wake up with a better effort last week at The Meadows. 4YO has almost as many wins this year as the rest of the field combined. (1) FANATIC makes sense dropping and drawing the rail with his early speed but look at that record over the past two seasons...1 for 44. (5) LOS BALLYKEELAMIGO has had a decent season and should fit well here.
Race 3: F&M NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) RAPTORS WON gets some class and post relief making her third start for Lachance since arriving from Canada and as we know this barn has had plenty of success over the years with these types of shippers. (4) PARADISE ROCK L has hit the board in two of her last three, both at big prices; maybe she's returning to the form we saw earlier this season. (3) PEMBROKE SOUTHIE tired after an aggressive try last start and now drops another notch in class; Bongiorno trainee is back to Kakaley and has the looks of a logical contender.
Race 4: NW11401 in last 5 starts Trot
(7) WARRAWEE YANG returns to Yonkers for Burke off a couple of poor efforts but he was competitive with better when he was here; Bartlett drives again and he figures to get away from the gate in good order despite the poor post. (2) B NICKING is always close up when inside but can't finish it off; he figures on a trip again to land a piece. (8) ALL STAR SWAN has been much better in her last two for live connections but may be done in by post eight.
Race 5: F&M NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) UPTOWN HANOVER returns locally for the Cullipher barn on the strength of two sharp scores at Pocono and The Big M; she fits well with this type and only needs a smooth trip to show her best. (1) WASTED ON YOU went a tough trip in her local debut but she can be excused for that effort and the filly is right back in the box moving all the way in to the rail. (4) TWO PISTOL ANNIE failed at 40 cents on the dollar last week; much better price looming tonight.
Race 6: NW16341 in last 5 starts Trot
(2) UNEVERGONNAGETHIS has just four wins in 35 starts this year but 19 board finishes; drop in class and good post gives the Gillis trainee an excellent chance to convert. (3) STREET GOSSIP is another that doesn't win as often as he should at 2 for 33 on the year but he always picks up shares and he gets needed post relief. (5) NO TURNING BACK is fresh off a life mark at The Meadowlands.
Race 7: F&M Invitational Pace
(4) EASY TO PLEASE is back up at the top level and ends up with a post edge on her main rivals. Stratton mare likely needs a bit of trip help to take this but she sure is sharp enough; consider at an honest price. (7) COACHELLABOUND N has taken two straight and three of four at the top level; with her early speed she's always a factor. (8) GRACE HILL makes her first start since the Breeders Crown final and don't forget she beat the mighty Twin B Joe Fresh in the elim; this spot is mighty tough, however.
Race 8: MGM Grand Prix Trotting Series Final
I wonder if I'm asking too much of (6) IT'S ACADEMIC to get it done despite being at a tactical disadvantage here; Dave Miller is back driving this multi-millionaire and I just feel he'll find a way to get it done as possibly the second choice. (4) ARI FERRARI J was no match for the top choice in round one, then beat him soundly last week. Draw puts the ball in Bartlett's court, so to speak. (3) DELAYED HANOVER lures Dexter Dunn here for the $250K final and he was a nice upset winner over another solid player (#7 Chapercraz); chance for a nice piece. Good race.

Race 9: F&M NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(6) TRICK OF THE LIGHT is another quality horse from the Virgil Morgan, Jr stable to make her way back to the East coast and she did have a win here last year. Not sure what Brennan's plan is here with speed signed on to her inside but she has shown versatility in the past. (4) ULTIMATE SPEED is back at the level of her win two starts ago, an odds-on score on the front end. New barn listed here but the now Devita trainee will be right there with her usual effort. (1) TWIST LITTLE GIRL N jogged two back off the claim, was an okay third last out. Rail draw makes her a player again.
Race 10: NW7500 in last 5 starts Trot
(4) KASHA V has been a quality trotter for veteran trainer Tom Corelli dating back to his 2YO season and hopefully he's over some breaking problems. Solid second last out at The Meadowlands and Steve Smith drives again. (2) REIGN OF HONOR showed an improved effort last week with Gingras driving. (5) VALI HANOVER fits nicely at this level and figures to be heard from at some point.
