2025 MEET STATS: 369 - 1203 / $2,011.98 (-$394.02) BEST BETS: 61 - 117 / $199.74 (-$34.26) BEST BET: LOUIES GIRL N (7th) SPOT PLAY: ENERGY KING (9th) Race 1: NW5312 in last 5 starts Pace (2) CURBSIDE PICKUP hasn't done a whole lot recently which is kind of unusual for a Burke trainee but he draws the best post he's seen since returning to Yonkers and is in a spot to be driven with some more urgency. (5) THE MIKI TAKER A is getting closer to that first North American win as he drops down the class ladder and the recent Shane Tritton import deserves a long look as the likely favorite. (4) RUSTY BEACH has zero current form as he arrives from Pocono but time-wise he probably fits and maybe the change in scenery helps. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: F&M NW5791 in last 5 starts Pace Dreary group of horses in here. (3) NITE TIME DEAL lands an improved post in her second start back at this basement level so I can see her being handled a little more aggressively. (2) I'M A BELIEVER is the only one with a win over the last three months and that came a few days ago at Pocono. (6) MYBITCOIN would be the pick if not for the worst post; closing threat? Race 3: NW7500 in last 5 starts Trot (4) GO HAVE FUN is third-time Lasix for the Stratton barn and she drops from $40K claimers to this softer spot while drawing a better post. (1) TORRONE is the class here and finds a good spot for a wakeup call. (5) BARN HALL was in a winning spot last week but couldn't bring it home; better price tonight after being odds-on in that affair. Race 4: F&M NW11606 in last 5 starts Pace (2) MISS DOTTIE MAE probably isn't the most logical in here as she is basically bumping up two classes and hasn't won in ages but she's in line for a live trip from this post and there's nobody else to get excited about in here. (1) DANDY'S MERCY won easily at Pocono two back and was close against better last out at The Meadowlands. (6) A FEW CHOICE WORDS was a 1:53 4/5 winner here four back and I can see her pushing from the gate. Race 5: F&M NW15371 in last 5 starts Pace (5) HUNTING HULA can usually finish with the best of them and even though she draws towards the outside Lachance figures to be close enough to strike. (1) COACHELLABOUND N should be better back on consecutive weeks and she picks up Bartlett, who is here for the back half of the card. (3) EASY TO PLEASE is inching towards $100K on the season and she can pick up a share in this abbreviated field. Race 6: NW12101 in last 5 starts Trot (5) KINDA LUCKY LINDY has been a worthy competitor at Yonkers for years and though he faces better that may have been a confidence-building win last week; veteran can go on or off the pace. (3) BLACK TIE BASH finished in the money from a similar spot last out and can save ground again hoping for late clearance to flash his late speed. (4) BACKSTREET PLAYER takes a needed drop in class and gets a key driver change tonight to Bartlett. Race 7: F&M Invitational Pace (5) LOUIES GIRL N is perfect through five U.S. starts with each win looking stronger than the last. She makes her way to the top level and there's softer competition than usual for this class, making her quest even easier tonight. (4) STAYINGWITHTHEWIND has an Invite win four back and looks like the main threat to the favorite though she has missed a couple of weeks. (1) CRUISE ALERT finished second best to #5 in her Yonkers return and can hit the board again from this cozy post. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8: NW17741 in last 5 starts Trot (5) DIAMONTE TRIO IT has looked super in her last two and steps up again going for the hat trick. Buter is back in the bike after winning with her on Oct. 24. (6) AQUARIUS FACE S broke after leaving last week but prior efforts against better were good and tonight Engblom lists his main man Bartlett. Could be a tricky spot but he still merits respect. (1) DW'S POINT MAN finished second from post one in the Invitational not too long ago so obviously the Lachance trainee is capable here. Race 9: NW5000 in last 5 starts Trot (2) ENERGY KING has basically been trotting evenly through all his recent races and now he drops to the bottom and the argument can be made that he's way overdue. This could be the winning spot to the Lance Hudson trainee. (1) DRAW THE LINE finished willingly last out in a needed start at Philly. (7) SEVENSHADESOFGREY did finish close at this level four starts back and he's got loads of back class. New driver in Stratton and maybe this guy can relive some past glory at a big price.
