Race 1: NW5000 in last 5 starts Trot

(1) HUSTLENOMICS hasn't done anything of note over the last month or so but he raced well prior to that at the $50K claiming level and this is one of the best spots he'll ever see. (3) PERRON could not sustain a second move as the chalk last start but he gets another shot at this reduced level and Holland will likely be sending him off the gate. (4) KOSHER MAHONEY broke starting last week and now drops again for live connections.

Race 2: F&M NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace

(5) MAN DONTFORGET ME was overtaken late after being worn down under hard pressure last week but the classy mare now drops down to a level where she really should be able to prosper at. (4) MILIEU HANOVER had pace last out after being shuffled and she should be a player here; maybe even a speed presence. (1) VILLAGE JADE has speed from the rail and the Burke trainee is in line for a live trip.

Race 3: F&M NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace

(2) PARADISE ROCK L has plenty to prove in the class department but she's been rock solid for the Engblom barn since arriving from Ohio and should be an attractive enough price to take a shot. (3) MORNING HAS BROKEN is more than capable of rolling these but she is trip-dependent. (1) LUCKY ARTIST A has completely fallen out of form, considering she was a legit player in the Matchmaker final earlier this year. Connections still send her out with regularity so she must be feeling fine. She has too much class to not turn things around eventually.

Race 4: NW7500 in last 5 starts Trot

(3) REIGN OF HONOR raced well last week with Dube driving and he gets the call again on this Bako trainee. Trotter is just 1 for 19 on the season but does appear overdue. (4) NEW HEAVEN has had a long and successful history at Yonkers but he's done little of late as he's been dropping down the class ladder. Veteran does find a good spot here to wake up. (2) BAZILLIONARE doesn't win much but can save ground to land a piece.

Race 5: F&M NW75000 in last 5 starts Pace

(4) LADY NEWTON drops from the $50K claiming level into this softer spot and the Gillis trainee has options from this post for Stratton to explore. Her most recent win was an off the pace brush and crush. (1) SHECOULDBEGOOD N has good speed and the rail draw; Brennan can have her on the front or in the pocket. (3) GOT SEXY SCARS picks up Bartlett upon arrival and she appears to be well classified here.

Race 6: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot

(6) WARRIOR ONE had no problems stepping back up in class last week as he took his third straight on the engine. Stick with him as he works his way back up to the Open level. (3) P L OSCAR should be forwardly placed and maybe he can work out a pocket trip at a price. (1) RESOLVE TO WIN is a 3YO with ability who's looked good since moving to the Cullipher barn.

Race 7: F&M NW30939 in last 5 starts Pace

I actually bet (2) MIKALA in the Breeders Crown final and though she didn't fire on that night she now finds herself eligible for this overnight event. I guess she's supposed to win here. (1) KARMA SEELSTER made an uncharacteristic break last week at 25 cents on the dollar; Stratton is back driving tonight. (7) DOUGS BABE A goes for four straight and will be a healthy price due to another outside post.

Race 8: NW10000 in last 5 starts Trot

(5) HUNTING AS had good late trot last week and he seems capable of reaching if kept close enough to the frontrunners. (2) CREATIVE VENTURE has no chance in his last two but now gets major post relief and by default will be more involved. (4) B MEDITHREE was a good second to Abruzzo last week. That one has post eight tonight, doesn't have a ton of gate speed and also a breaking problem. Kakaley drove him well in that latest win with his belated move to the front after he felt safe with him; he's not here to drive tonight, however.

Race 9: F&M NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace

(6) TALLCHIEF HANOVER faced better in a start here last month and raced pretty well; Engblom trainee returns to meet a very soft field begging to get beat. (2) CORAL BELLA has fallen on hard times but it's hard not to consider her at this level from an inside post. (5) WILDCAT ANTONIA showed a little bit more last week when dropped from the $20K claimers to this class.
