Race 1: $15,000 Claiming Pace
(1) FARMER'S TAN was a going-away winner in his last start and lands inside again facing much of the same here; Bako trainee looks like a pretty solid chalk to kick off the evening. (5) OHIO VINTAGE dropped below the level of the recent claim by these connections last out after being scratched sick and was second best to the top one after cutting the mile; Brennan should have him in play again. (3) COACH CAL rallied for third last week at a big price and he's proven to be a contender with this type when drawn well.

Race 2: $40,000 Claiming Pace
(1) GHOST DANCE kicked home well last week to be second best to the odds-on The Downtown Bus and Holland drives again while drawing best; versatile veteran can sit a pocket to the speedy (3) KEYSTONE DASH and be freshest late. The latter bumped up to 50's last start and never threatened from off the pace; he drops back to a winning level and Dube figures to head to the front. (2) ALOTBETTOR N came up big in his last two starts then was scratched sick. Ruiz trainee is right back in the box so hopefully he's good to go.

Race 3: $25,000 Claiming Pace
(8) MAJOR CROCKER A went wire-to-wire in his local return and the 12-year-old was claimed out of that race by Dowse. He bumps up a notch and draws worst but he faces a field without a ton of early speed so maybe Bartlett can get him off the gate into a contending position. (3) SWEET N FAST N gets post relief after a no-chance trip last out and he looks as good as anyone else in here, and should offer a decent price. (1) AWESOMENESS was chased along looking sluggish most of the way last start, his first for new connections, but when all was said and done he was beaten only half a length. I'll let him beat me.
Race 4: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot
(1) GREY is much-improved since the recent barn change to Travis Alexander and if she behaves herself she can this field a long way on the engine. (2) SECRET BRO was collared by the top one last out after cutting the mile from the seven hole; Bongiorno trainee fits well here and should be close to the front again. (5) HIGHLAND MOWGLI jogged in his local debut and the recent addition to the Burke Brigade could have more to offer.
Race 5: NW5396 in last 5 starts Pace
(7) DINA BOLT N was competitive with $75K claimers and other high-class levels not too long ago and now he finds himself at the lowest conditioned level (where he was written in). Bartlett is back driving the Blackler trainee and he's hard to pass up despite the seven hole. (3) AIN'T HE SPECIAL lacks the experience of others in here but the three-year-old put in one of his better efforts last week. (5) GLENGARRY KNIGHT N is much better than he has been showing; veteran figures to awaken one of these weeks.
Race 6: NW30000 in last 5 starts Trot
(4) LEAN HANOVER has been on a good form cycle and the veteran has a post edge on many of his main rivals here which could make the difference. (1) BARN HALL is facing better here but he lands a good inside post and seems fast enough to compete. (6) WARRIOR ONE is proven with this type and could be a factor if Brennan can improve position some at the start.
Race 7: $15,000 Claiming Pace
(2) CARRACCI HANOVER finally found a winning spot at Philly and he returns locally to find a camera-shy field of veteran claimers; the now-hobbled pacer draws well and should be in the thick of the action. (3) P H KENNY also returns to Yonkers after a run in Pennsylvania; he's been knocking on the door for some time now but is still stuck on just one seasonal win. Bartlett picks up the drive. (1) TERRITORY has been a disappointment since the Cory Stratton claim. Last week he gave it up without much of a fight but at least he draws best here.

Race 8: Open Handicap Trot
(6) STORMY KROMER failed to get involved from an outside post last start, which sometimes happens with this guy, and now he's assigned outside again. Classy trotter will be a solid price and it's certainly not impossible for him to win with a little luck. (1) HL REVADON finds himself at the top level after being perfect in four starts since moving to the Burke barn; could he be this good? (4) HERCULISA is a talented Ohio-bred who makes her way to Yonkers for her local connections. She did break the last time she was on a half, however.
Race 9: $20,000 Claiming Pace
(1) SUNSETBOOZECRUISE gets major post relief and note the effort he went three back when Holland got him in play from the eight hole. This isn't the toughest field of mid-level claimers either. (3) JOJO'S PLACE is certainly logical coming from Dowse/Bartlett but he'll be overbet and he hasn't won in two tries for that barn. (2) LOVE THE BLUES N moves to the Stratton barn via claim and stays at a competitive level.
