(6) BRI EXPRESS N was second best to a classy rival last week after cutting the mile; Stratton trainee gets another crack at this level from a similar post. (4) OAKLEY SHARD N drops a notch and moves back to the middle of the gate where she figures to be more involved. (1) SUNBURST has been sharp in her last three and she steps up to face better but does draw best which gives her an edge.

Race 2: *Pink-Out race for Breast Cancer awareness* F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace
(4) TALENT TO SPARE A is 0 for 27 but many races at this level have been competitive; maybe the unusual circumstances of an all-ladies race helps her break through. Competent driver, decent enough post. (2) DASH N CACHE is currently as sharp as she's been in over a year and she's clearly the one to beat. (5) GOT SEXY SCARS is capable of getting off the gate in quick order with Julie Miller driving.
Race 3: F&M NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) LYDEO scored from the pocket on last week's dropdown but this veteran is capable versus this class and the good draw makes her the one to beat. (5) DANCING DRAGON has now won five in a row after recently shipping into the Bongiorno barn; she steps up to face the toughest she's seen but still merits serious respect. (3) SHEER ARTISTRY N has been third best in her last two and figures as high tonight.
Race 4: F&M NW5300 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) BETTOR'S TICKET draws the best post she's seen in a couple of months and she hasn't been far off in any recent race; Cory Stratton trainee gets the call with brother Jordan again in the bike. (1) MC ANGEL has been a rare disappointment for the Lachance barn but she now drops to the basement and has the rail. (6) TH CHECK ME OUT faltered at odds-on last week and will offer a much better price tonight.
Race 5: NW7500 in last 5 starts Trot
(4) CHEERS HANOVER hasn't come close to replicating his 3YO season but he recently added the trotting hobbles and he was caught first-up into a fast pace last start at Philly. Burke trainee faced much better when we last saw him at Yonkers. (2) BULLY BOY HILL successfully dropped and popped last week, now looks to repeat stepping back up a notch. (1) SHOW THE WILL has a good chance to pick up a share from this spot.
Race 6: NW5000 in last 5 starts Trot
(3) MAZEPPA N took plenty of money last start at Philly, his first race for his new barn, but didn't get involved. Nik Drennan trainee goes second-time Lasix as he ships in to find a pretty soft spot and picks up Brennan; 20/1 ML. (6) TREGARON has an easy win and a second in his last two for co-owner Colin Kelly. (8) KILIMANJAROFACE DK has raced pretty well at Philly with the hobbles added as she looks to turn things around; tough post but the Engblom trainee deserves a long look.
Race 7: NW10000 in last 5 starts Trot
(1) VINNY DE VIE just couldn't last on the front end last week; veteran trotter returns to Holland, draws the rail and gets one final shot to seal the deal. (3) COMMODUS A draws much better and should be able to reach contention from this spot. (2) LAUREN'S CHAPTER is a talented 3YO who recently went over the $200K mark in seasonal earnings. Big chance for sure but also a chance to be way overbet.

Race 8: F&M NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace
(6) JENSVILLE A is back after a brief freshening and winning qualifier. Talented mare has both blast-off speed and staying power; looks to be perfectly spotted at this level. (1) CHERYLS SHADOW figures to get an easier trip than last time; can stalk from the pocket. (4) WORKLIFEBALANCE finished belatedly in her last couple and can be a couple of spots closer to the frontrunners tonight.
Race 9: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot
(4) PEDAL ON METAL moved into the Alvarez barn at the beginning of the month, added hobbles and has looked much better. He's one of many in here who can make an impact and can do it front on the pace like two back, or coming from behind, like last week. (7) E-PASS gets significant class relief and Holland has gotten this gelding in play before. (2) SEVEN LAYER drops back to the class he's more competitive at, especially from an inside post.
