Race 1: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) PERSIMMON A was game in defeat last out and the gelding has certainly been knocking on the door; expect aggressive handling again from Holland and if not used too hard he can get it done tonight. (2) FIZZING N doesn't win often but he'll be close up from this spot and should be a major threat to hit the ticket. (8) BETTER UP has been facing better recently both here and at Monti; he's shown speed in the past so maybe Kakaley takes a shot. Barn has been live.

Race 2: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) RISKY MILLION has not been a serious player in recent starts but he's generally been facing better and he consistently shows good last-quarter speed; he finally gets a good post to work with and seems to have a legit chance. (3) MULLINAX was a good second last week at the NW10000 base level; talented youngster Braxton Boyd has the steer again and this 4-year-old may be the favorite. (8) QUALITY BUD has been unlucky at the post draw but the veteran rallied well last out and also drops a notch; Holland drives again.

Race 3: F&M NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) FIRE START HANOVER failed to make the Breeders Crown final so she's right back in to go facing overnight foes. Two back she was a fast-closing third at the Open level. (1) JODY has been much more consistent recently and the Burke trainee gets needed post relief; she seems like the main threat to the top one. (4) DISARONNO HILL put in a solid effort last out but was held off by the odds-on Drama Act. She can land a piece at a price.
Race 4: $15,000 Claiming Pace
(3) OHIO VINTAGE got badly shuffled from the pocket last week and gained well for second once clear. DiDomenico trainee has been good in all starts since the claim and he deserves top billing here. (4) FARMER'S TAN was a no-excuse second to the top one two back then was empty trying to come from the back last week. Bako trainee gets a bit of post relief and also picks up Bartlett; improvement? (7) CASHNCAM goes for three straight but may be done in by the poor post.
Race 5: $25,000 Claiming Pace
(6) DENMARK SEELSTER put in a solid acclimating mile upon arrival from Canada and he may have more to offer in his second local start, especially in this field where the two morning-line choices have big question marks. (2) JOJO'S PLACE goes from an exiled 34% barn to a 6% barn via claim but he's been sharp and does draw well. (1) APEX SEELSTER was second best in a $50K claimer last month and now he's in for half the price coming off a sick scratch; use caution.
Race 6: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot
(1) NEW HEAVEN has been better in his last couple and the move all the way inside can help get this classy veteran back over the top. (4) HOOLIE N HECTOR looks like he'll be leaving the gate from this spot which can set him up with a good trip at a decent price. (7) TAKE ALL COMERS took a shot rushing up from the back of the pack at about a thousand to one in the added-distance invitational but it didn't work out; he jogged in his prior start at this level.
Race 7: $20,000 Claiming Pace
(1) DAVIDS COMING HOME put in a real stinker last week but the good news is that he's right back in the box and lands inside facing some equally questionable rivals. Veteran does fit with these and may be overlooked in the wagering. (5) GIVENUPDREAMING was okay in his first start off the claim and now drops back down a notch. He seems overdue. (7) THISJETSABOOKIN rallied well in his local return and Stratton drives again for his brother.
Race 8: F&M Open Handicap Pace
(6) DELITFULCATHERIN N has been the Queen of this class with five wins in her last seven starts at this top level; if she makes the front without too much trouble she'll be hard to pass. (3) SIESTA BEACH was caught uncovered into a rated pace last out and gave way but her prior efforts were solid as she made her way back up to the Open level. (5) MORNING HAS BROKEN has been razor-sharp and deserves a chance versus these.

Race 9: F&M NW30576 in last 5 starts Pace
(6) LIT DE ROSE has had a successful history at Yonkers at both the Open level and in the Matchmaker series; she doesn't find the most appealing spot in her return from Canada but she is best here and hopefully Lachance will get her in play. (2) UPTOWN HANOVER has been sharp for the Cullipher barn both locally and at Pocono; Bartlett is back driving. (4) LADY DELA RENTA A has been overachieving lately considering she was at the NW5000 level not too long ago; possible.
Race 10: $15,000 Claiming Pace
(3) KIMANI N lost cover and was outfinished in his latest try but it was an improved effort; veteran has shown early speed in the past and Dube has tactical options from this spot. (4) TERRITORY also gave it an improved try in last as he was uncovered a long way and hung in there pretty gamely. (1) PACING MAJOR N is a very risky proposition but we know the talent is there.
