Race 1: $12,500 Claiming Pace

(3) SEELEY MAN made a nice rally from off the pace to take aim but flattened out considerably in the late stages in his local return, but that type of trip isn't really his best game. He may be cutting the mile tonight. (2) MACHING TIME destroyed a weak field last start and is an obvious threat to repeat. (6) HIGHVIEW CONALL N moves to the Ruiz barn via claim and stays in for the same price; take a look.

Race 2: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace

(2) DENVER SEELSTER returns from Canada and has a solid local history, having beaten much better than these in the past. He looks well-spotted here. (1) CONTROL TOWER appears a bit rusty after only two starts coming back from an extended vacation. Much like the top choice he's got plenty of back class. (6) WAR DAN DELIGHT N drops for the third consecutive start after failing last week as the 6/5 choice. Harmon trainee faces an uncertain trip from this post however.

Race 3: $12,000/$15,000 Claiming Pace

(1) NORTHERN SPORTMAN lands the best draw in this handicap race and he's been decent in his last two. Siegelman figures to work out a live trip from this spot and can get the best of these. (4) STOLEN CAR is clearly showing his age but he's been a rock-solid campaigner with over $800K banked and perhaps he has some life left in those legs. (8) ZOEEZ BOY HENRY gets an interesting barn change to Andrew Harris via claim and he picks up Bartlett; he could be a player if Bartlett can improve position off the gate.

Race 4: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace

(3) TALK SHOW came uncovered into the well-rated pace last week and never threatened; veteran faces a more suspect field tonight and could get it done with a better trip. (5) KILLER MARTINI gapped with nothing last out and now has gone 13 starts without hitting the board this year. Drops to the basement and tries Bartlett. (4) ABERDEEN HANOVER never wins but can usually be counted on for a share.

Race 5: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace

(5) SOLID ASA ROCK A returns locally off a solid score at Freehold and he's been competitive with better than these in the past. (2) RAINBOW ROMANCE N has had two eight holes and two seven holes in his last four Yonkers starts; obviously the DiDomenico trainee will be more involved from this spot. (1) NOX VEGAS BLUECHIP was game for second coming out of the same race as the top choice and he stands a good chance to hit the ticket from the best post.

Race 6: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(3) SPORTSKEEPER dips a bit in class tonight and he wakes up with a big effort from time to time; he could be a decent price option in this competitive affair. (2) SHOW THE FASHION also gets class relief and equally importantly he finally gets a good draw. (5) BATTLE STRONG had no excuse to blow second last week after sitting a smooth pocket trip to the odds-on winner. Hard to endorse for the top spot but his early speed gives him a chance.

Race 7: Open Handicap Trot

(5) STORMY KROMER failed to get involved last start but he gets his best post in ages with some tough ones outside of him and I'll have to assume the gelding is still sharp and ready to go. (8) MELADY’S MONET now gets assigned the eight hole after that ridiculously generous post last out where he was a winner at odds-on; price goes way up as he may have too far to come, but hey, maybe he reaches. (4) MISSISSIPPI STORM does his best work a notch or two below these but he's been in good form.

Race 8: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(1) TYGA HANOVER has just one win this season racing north of the border but he's been racing reasonably well of late and he ships into the Harris barn getting the best post with Bartlett driving. May be overbet but seems logical. (4) SANTAFE'S COACH takes a needed drop in class for Lachance, who has been live with everything recently. (7) MACH N CHEESE was aggressively put on the front end again last week but could not hold on; figures to be off the pace tonight..

Race 9: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot

(3) STONE IN LOVE has been solid in all recent Yonkers starts and while she might lack the class of others in here her price should be decent; maybe. (4) VAINQUEUR R P NO came up just short last week but it was a much-improved effort; Takter trainee must be considered. (2) TOP FLIGHT ANGEL was charging hard at the wire last out.

Race 10: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(1) ROCK LIGHTS was 113/1 last week versus better and was beaten less than two lengths; he drops in class, moves all the way inside and adds Bartlett. (2) MACHIAVELLI was never a serious threat on the rim last out but did pace home steadily; he'll be closer to the action tonight. (8) AMERICAN BOY N certainly fits with this type and would be one of the choices had he drawn inside; maybe he can sneak onto the ticket at a healthy price.
