Race 1: $15,000 Claiming Pace
(2) TEXAS TERROR N totally dominated when last at the $15K claiming level and while he's not the most reliable type as he wraps up his 14-year-old season he is clearly the one to beat in here. (4) ACES ROCK didn't really fire in his first start off the claim but he seems capable of better; Bartlett drives tonight. (8) CAROLINA MAGIC was a solid winner two back with Holland driving; obviously the eight hole is no picnic but the Koch trainee fits well with these and will be a big price.

Race 2: $25,000 Claiming Pace
(3) MARTY MONKHOUSER A left as usual for position last week but got jammed in on the final turn and lost all chance; veteran will be close to the pace again and is always capable with a good trip. (1) AWESOMENESS has held stubbornly after long, grinding affairs in his three starts since the Blumenfeld claim; hard to fall in love with him at a short price, however. (4) GIVENUPDREAMING goes for new connections and can land a share. Luke Hanners gets the drive and we've seen him perform well here in the past.

Race 3: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) VIVA LAS VEGAS N was a good second from the pocket to a classy rival last Saturday afternoon and he faces softer here while drawing well again; Lachance trainee seems overdue. (5) MARLBANK ROAD was solid in beating cheaper last start and others recently from this barn have performed well. (4) KAUAI KING has hit the board in his last four races but needs to show more.
Race 4: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot
(5) NEW HEAVEN was a bit better last week and he drops down to a level where he's much more effective; veteran can get the winning trip with an alert getaway. (8) HIGHLAND MOWGLI benefitted from a rival's miscue last week but overall he's been solid since moving to the Burke barn; he's got the speed to overcome the eight hole. (1) EPOS OSTERVANG DK was outfinished with little excuse last out; needs more late.
Race 5: $25,000 Claiming Pace
(1) SWAGASAURUSREX usually races as well as he draws and three back from the rail he was right there at the wire; he could trip out here in a race with many question marks. (3) DENMARK SEELSTER arrives from Canada and joins the Travis Alexander barn. He seems fast enough to compete here based on those final times at Grand River. (4) BAMSKI drops in class and gets a driver upgrade to Bartlett.
Race 6: NW20000 in last 5 starts Trot
(1) WARRIOR ONE takes a needed drop in class, moves all the way inside, keeps Brennan (for Burke) and is supposed to beat these. (3) HAT TRICK MARLEAU sat a nice trip last week but lacked the needed late punch; he also drops in class and gets Stratton to drive. (4) BALDAQUIN is in the midst of a solid form spree out of town and he could fit well here.
Race 7: $20,000 Claiming Pace
(3) UPTOWN FUNK was well meant last week but staggered late; Bartlett gives him a try tonight and he figures to be aggressively handled again from this spot. (7) TWIN B SPEED DIAL beat the top one last out and he's been razor-sharp overall; Forte trainee remains at a winning level but has to navigate the poor post. (5) DAVIDS COMING HOME rallied well last out, could do so again.

Race 8: Open Handicap Trot
(4) STORMY KROMER had no chance in last week's $250K invitational so just ignore that line; the prior start he was used hard and gave way late under hard pressure. Veteran lands the best possible post in this handicap event and Dube sticks with him over a Svanstedt trainee. (2) MISSISSIPPI STORM was very good last start showing good speed at both ends; he lands inside again and could be looking at a winning trip. (6) INCOMMUNICADO was a pocket-sitting winner two back in the regular Friday feature but as mentioned he loses Dube.
Race 9: $15,000 Claiming Pace
(2) OHIO VINTAGE has taken two of three on the engine since moving to the DiDomenico barn and he looks like a logical favorite from this spot. (6) FARMER'S TAN was odds-on in the race the top choice won and he never came close to threatening from the loose pocket; he does have speed at his disposal and will be a much better price. (1) CASHNCAM had been knocking on the door prior to his last start and he rolled home off cover; it would be no surprise to see him repeat.
