2025 MEET STATS: 308 - 1027 / $1,701.88 (-$352.12) BEST BETS: 54 - 101 / $174.44 (-$27.56) BEST BET: AARDIE B MIKI N (8th) SPOT PLAY: SEEME ZOOM (11th) Race 1: F&M NW5476 in last 5 starts Pace (1) JIVE DANCING A raced very well last week to be second best and now from the rail with all of her back class she should be tough to beat. (3) STAY HAPPY drops again and finally draws a reasonable post. (7) UNDETERRED crushed in her debut for this barn after arriving from Ohio then was scratched sick so she's missed a bit of time, plus she draws poorly here. Tough to gauge. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: NW7500 in last 5 starts Trot (3) MYCROWNMYKINGDOM was much better last start after throwing in a clunker the week prior; Stafford trainee gets a new set of hands with the catch driving Dube and he's overdue for a win. (1) BE DIFFERENT has been live in his last two after being invisible in all prior starts; looks like the gelding has found his stride again and can work out a live trip from the rail. (4) PISCO SOUR faces easier after breaking from the pocket late in the mile last out; Buter with the catch drive on the underachieving Engblom trainee. Race 3: F&M NW30451 in last 5 starts Pace (4) SHEER ARTISTRY N started slow in her North American journey but has taken her last three in dominating style; mare graduates into this much tougher field but I think she fits, and may offer a touch of value with other interesting prospects in here. (2) LYDEO is best of the locals and was a winner the last time Brennan drove. (5) LOUIES GIRL N is perfect in three races since arriving from New Zealand; I wonder if her lack of early speed will put her in a tough spot tonight. (3) ELUSIVE A is another import debuting off a winning qualifier. I'm starting to lose count with these Down Under arrivals. Race 4: NW10000 in last 5 starts Trot (3) DOROTEA TRIO IT put it together last week when Buter picked up the drive and he's in the bike again looking to repeat with the mare, who does like to win at 6 for 18 on the season. (4) ENERGYSOURCE has a modest record at 1 for 25 but he does like to hit the board and has done so in his last two at big prices. (2) INFINITY STONE was sent to the lead and set a quick clip in his first start in three months despite coming off a couple of flat qualifiers. Veteran could be tighter this time around. Race 5: NW11051 in last 5 starts Trot (2) BLACKHAWK ZETTE finished third in his last three races and now drops a notch to face a field that figures to go a bit slower tonight. Stratton may be able to control these from start to finish. (6) TORRONE hasn't been racing badly at all lately and he too finds a softer field. $100K earner this season is overlooked on the ML at 20/1. (4) OVER AND BACK has been cashing checks since being claimed for $60K by these connections and he'll get over the hump eventually; no surprise if it happens tonight. Race 6: F&M NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace (6) TURN THE PAGE N seems to have a class edge on these and gets to drop another rung on the ladder; mare has speed and just needs an alert drive from Cushing. (3) HUNTING HULA was a winner from this post the last time she was at this level. (1) CHIAPANECAS is forced up in class now off that rough trip last week as the odds-on chalk. Yes she's capable but I'll leave her underneath. Race 7: F&M NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace (6) ACUSHLA MACHREE N had a nice pocket trip last week in her second state-side race and while she does move back outside maybe she has some early speed in her arsenal so Brennan can get her in play; I'll give the import a look. (2) IDEALINFUN has raced well in all recent though without a win to show for it and she's in a good spot here to land another nice share. (1) COACHELLABOUND N has had a disappointing season when compared to 2024 but meanwhile she's banked close to $100K. Early speed and rail draw keeps her on or near the lead. Race 8: F&M Invitational Pace (3) AARDIE B MIKI N gets the post draw that could give her the tactical advantage after missing a neck and a nose last week; her turn tonight. (2) STAYINGWITHTHEWIND was an upset winner two back from this post so the move back inside figures to keep her close again. (4) ODDS ON PLATINUM has proven through a couple of starts with these that she belongs at this top level. Race 9: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot (7) NYMERIA has been right there over her last couple of starts in races that seem faster than others in here. Obviously the post is a handicap but I think she will moving forward off the gate. (4) UNEVERGONNAGETHIS drops back down to the level of his last win and the Cullipher trainee looks like the other main player in here. (1) MA ISABELLE transitions from the NW lifetime races class to face mostly more seasoned foes but from the rail the Lachance student will stay close. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 10: F&M NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace (4) MARIA ALLEGONDA N gave a very good accounting of herself in her first North American race as she chased the classy winner from the pocket and was right there late. I'll assume the import is ready to step up and take this. (6) A FEW CHOICE WORDS was a front-end winner in her second start after arriving from Canada for the Blake Macintosh barn; she steps up a class and moves outside a couple of slots but still must be respected. (1) DONEGAL SPIRIT was in too tough in her local return but now drops and moves all the way inside. Race 11: NW5000 in last 5 starts Trot (7) SEEME ZOOM recently added the hobbles and wired a soft field at Pocono. Bako trainee comes back to Yonkers and faces a field lacking in recent wins. I think the 3YO can show further improvement. (2) FANATIC missed a head last out and is a main contender. (1) INTERNATIONALCRAZE trotted evenly last start and picked up a small share. Similar effort lands a piece again.
