Race 1: F&M NW30501 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) LUCKY ARTIST A is up in class to the $75K claiming level looking for three straight wins and as mentioned previously this classy mare can string a few together when she gets hot; Bartlett back driving. (5) LIT DE ROSE rallied well as usual last week and got up for second; always a threat no matter where she is. (6) LLOYD'S LOVES couldn't last on the front last out and now is drawn outside her main competition; looking at using underneath only tonight.

Race 2: F&M NW20501 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) ULTIMATE SPEED just missed last week at a nice price and the Alexander trainee has remained sharp for a while now; gets the call here as probable second or third choice. (1) GRACE HILL ships in from Ohio and she's been a staked-placed mare much of her career; no reason she can't control these but figures to be overbet. (2) VIBRANCE was outfinished in the late stages finishing off the board despite being just a head behind. Burke trainee draws well again and figures to be right in the mix.
Race 3: NW10000 in last 5 starts Trot
(2) PC FREE WHEELING has been competitive recently being in the money three of four; she's got a beneficial post edge here on her main rivals and is a smooth trip away from getting it done. (5) FULL STRENGTH is the only one in here who has had a recent win and it was an easy score versus a notch lesser; big threat to repeat. (8) CRAZYLAND hails from top connections and gets class relief but he's stuck outside and needs a way into this. Four back he was second out of this post.
Race 4: F&M NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(7) DEVILISH DREAMS has been much-improved in her last cover after the recent move to the Bongiorno barn. Kakaley picks up the catch drive and with an alert getaway and smooth enough trip she seems capable of an upset for a long-awaited win. (1) MISS DOTTIE MAE dropped and popped last week (at five cents on the dollar!) and she lands the rail again looking to repeat. (4) HONEY LOVE tired badly last out for seemingly no reason but she took a couple of weeks off and now is down in class; can she bounce back?
Race 5: MGM Grand Prix Trotting Series Leg 1
(6) DJIMON had been rolling at Yonkers prior to his failed try in the Dayton Derby where he was never close from post nine. Brennan gets along great with the Mark Steacy trainee and could be tough to catch if he makes the front. (1) CECIL HANOVER has also been solid locally including being second best in the Invite on Int'l Trot day; Dan Dube driving for Ake Svanstedt has produced many winners here over the last few years. (8) IT'S ACADEMIC is arguably best and definitely classiest but the Burke-trained $2.5 million earner draws the dreaded eight hole.
Race 6: F&M NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) LADYCORONA has been a killer since shipping down from Canada to join the Lachance barn. Step up in class again may not derail her as she goes for a fifth straight. (5) TALENT TO SPARE A also steps up a notch looking for another win; Napolitano driving for Lance Hudson has done well here. (4) CAMERICAN is a talented filly from the Burke Brigade who figures to be forwardly placed.
Race 7: F&M NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) JM BETONSIX closed from the clouds two back, rallied well last week and now gets major post relief; she figured to have a big shot from this spot. (6) MCMARKLE SPARKLE hasn't been the same mare this season as in years past but her last start was improved as despite tiring she flashed good speed to get into play. (1) THINK AHEAD is a filly with just 21 lifetime starts and probably needs to go faster but she figures on seeing a live trip from the rail.
Race 8: MGM Grand Prix Trotting Series Leg 1
(6) CHAPERCRAZ only has one win on the season in 17 tries but the Burke trainee has banked $435K by being competitive in all the big dances. He returns to Yonkers where he's got a 1:53 4/5 mark from last year and was also the runner-up in the YR Trot. (3) BESTFRIEND VOLO gives the half-miler a try for the first time but I'll assume her connections think she'll perform well; Takter trainee is 8 for 13 this year. (8) ARI FERRARI J has won three straight local races for Alagna including the $250K invite but will the eight hole be too much to overcome?
Race 9: NW5000 in last 5 starts Trot
(3) HEADOVERBOOTS AS was second last week at Freehold in a good try and that was the first start in the DiDomenico barn; Marohn drives again and he seems to fit well in here. (6) HOOLIE N HECTOR drops to the lowest conditioned level and should be a player despite that 1 for 25 record this year. (4) ATTA GIRL DAN was empty last start and 0 for 17 in 2024 but has been second eight times; maybe she can show a bit more.

Race 10: F&M NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
It feels like (4) ITTY BITTY has cost me thousands of dollars over the years but I just can't get away from her, especially with her post improvement in this soft field. (6) GOT SEXY SCARS drops to the bottom level after being competitive in all recent starts and should offer some value from the six hole. (2) MC ANGEL has been going a bit faster than these recently and is a six-figure earner on the season but 6/5 on the morning line?
Race 11: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot
(4) YANKS DUGOUT showed some improvement last week after dropping in class and he's down another notch here; classy trotter figures to be heading to the front to cut the mile or stalk from the pocket. (1) BEERTHIRTY K has proven speed and the rail; player. (8) CANTSTOP YANKEE was able to overcome the eight hole to score last out; Bartlett drives the Engblom trainee hoping lightning can strike twice.
