Yonkers: $40,508 carryover, $100,000 guaranteed Pick 5 pool Tuesday

A one-for-nine Monday night (October 16) for favorites at MGM Yonkers Raceway included upsets of 35-1 by American Mercury in the $36,000 Open Pace and 10-1 by Fulsome, leading to the Pick 5 going unsolved for the second straight program. As a result, there will be a $40,508.31 carryover and a $100,000 guaranteed pool in the sequence on Tuesday night (October 17).

The guarantee in the Pick 5 is being offered as part of the United States Trotting Association's Strategic Wagering Program. Free Harness Eye past performances for the Pick 5, are available here. The Pick 5, which begins in race five, has a takeout rate of 20 percent.
