Woodbine: Strike Softly scores

Jockey Todd Kabel won the $151,200 Jammed Lovely Stakes for the third consecutive year, riding Strike Softly at Woodbine.

Strike Softly loomed into contention on the turn and overtook London Snow at the eighth pole before drawing away for a 3 1/4-length victory. Seductively finished 1 1/4 lengths back of London Snow in third in the eight-horse field of Ontario-foaled 3-year-old fillies.

Strike Softly completed the distance in 1:24.51, and returned $6 as the favorite. She banked $90,000 for her owner/breeder, Sam-Son Farm.
