Woodbine: Pool Play breezes for Singspiel
Barbara D. Livingston Pool Play will go 1 1 / 2 mile on grass in the Singspiel.
ETOBICOKE, Ontario - Trainer Mark Casse sent out Pool Play to breeze five furlongs in 1:02 here at Woodbine on Monday morning in preparation for Sunday’s Singspiel Stakes.
The Grade 3 Singspiel, a 1 1/2-mile turf race with a purse of $150,000, is one of four stakes races on the Queen’s Plate undercard.
Patrioticandpround, one of two Casse entrants here in Monday’s Dominion Day Stakes, was scratched and also is slated to contest the Singspiel.
