Woodbine Mohawk Park: Two victories for Jamieson, MacIntosh in Thursday's OSS Gold Series action

It was a busy night of Ontario Sires Stakes Gold Series contests on Thursday at Woodbine Mohawk Park with two C$95,000 groupings of 2-year-old filly trotters and three $63,334 sections for their male counterparts.
Driver Jody Jamieson and trainer Blake MacIntosh teamed up to sweep the races for trotting fillies as first Medley Seelster angled out three-wide from the pocket in the lane and got past Baden Baden (Tyler Jones) and TH Monica (James MacDonald) to win by a neck in 1:55 3/5 and then Monalishi prevailed on the front-end in 1:56 4/5, defeating a gaining Foxy Amee (Paul MacDonell) by a head.
Medley Seelster, a daughter of Wheeling N Dealin, won for the second time and has now banked C$71,010 for owner Glenn Dyke, while Monalishi has won two of three outings and earned C$95,000 for MacIntosh, who co-owns the Green Manalishi S filly with Tim Klemencic. Medley Seelster, who paid $14.70 to win, was bred by Seelster Farms and Monalishi, who kicked back $3.20, was bred by Shmuel Farhi.
Green Manalishi S picked up another siring credit when Galen Erso (Doug McNair) won the second split for the colts and geldings in 1:56. He brushed to the lead before the 58 1/5 and went on to defeat Rising Interest (Tyler Borth) by 2 1/2 lengths for trainer Gregg McNair and owner/breeder Marcus Melander. Galen Erso has a summary of 2-0-1 from three appearances, has put away C$84,918 and returned $3.30 to win.

Back in the opening division for the boys, You Got It Kemp (Sylvain Filion) got up from the pocket in the lane to break his maiden by three-quarters of a length in 1:56 2/5, rallying past pace-setter Call Me Parker (MacDonald). Suojalampi Stable Inc., who bred the victorious Muscle Mass gelding with Kemppi Stables Oy Inc., co-owns You Got It Kemp with trainer Dan Lagace, Brady Lagace and Brooke Lagace. You Got It Kemp paid $6.20 to win while boosting his bankroll to C$35,667.
Sound N Vision (Bob McClure) bagged the final flight in 1:57 3/5, rallying off cover in the stretch to down first-over Lookatmegoamigo (Louis Roy) by a length and a half. Trainer Mark Etsell also co-owns Sound N Vision, a colt by Royalty For Life bred by Dustin Jones Stables Inc. and Hebert Horses Inc., with partners Terry Devos, Peter Porter and Denise Turner. He's made it to the winner's circle in two of his three trips behind the gate, has pocketed C$43,942 and returned $14.70 to win.
