(3) INCREDIBLE WINNER produced a sub-58 back 1/2 last time which would be good enough to beat these if he can lay a bit closer early; top call in the opener. (2) TENNESSEE TITAN almost held on last time when he finished ahead of the choice, but that loss ran his winless streak to 19. What price would you take on him? (9) GO TIME figures on recent form, but he drew poorest and he would need to be put into this race earlier to have a shot. (4) HETTIES MAGIC is worth a look for the exotics off his recent qualifier.
Race 2 - F&M 4YO and Younger NW1 or $10,000 LT
This race could be a battle between two winless fillies, (6) DRESS TO THE NINES and (1) OKA who land in a logical spot here. Nod to the former who finished ahead of the latter last race, but I'll use both in the Pick 5. (4) KENDALLS COUSIN is certainly worth a look her on debut as this isn't the toughest spot; using. (2) FAST N RELENTLESS should get position near the front early and ride a trip to land in the Tri or Super.
Race 3 - Two Year Old Fillies
(3) KARMA SEELSTER stands out here and she should convert at a short price in racing in between sires stakes starts. (1) FREE FLYIN TICKET has been kicking home quickly and she should make her presence felt late. (5) P L NOTORIOUS should pepper the early pace and if she gets left alone on the lead, she will become more dangerous as the race progresses. (4) KEYSTONE KALIMBA has improving form and she should get a piece of this.
Race 4 - CLM HDCP $12,000 to $15,000 **$50K GTD PICK-4**
This race looks like it will set up for a closer and I'll take (4) ARSENAL SEELSTER to mow them all down while making his second start back. (7) ALLSTAR SEELSTER was terrific taking a new life's mark last week and he is the one to beat here. (3) SHOE SHINE raced okay off the Waxman claim last time; consider for the exotics. (9) DOVUTO HANOVER is always a threat, but from out there he could get fried early here.
Race 5 - ONTARIO SIRES STAKES - GOLD 2YO Fillies
(7) INTENSE JUSTICE will likely be looking to go down the road here and she has a good chance of doing just that if she stays flat this time. (3) SHE ROCKS KEMP - like the choice - drops from Grand Circuit company and she should be the main foe here. (9) P L NOTSONICE finished ahead of the two choices in the Peaceful Way and she can't be tossed, but her task is tougher starting from out there. (2) MODERN MASS can pass a few of these late and make it into the Super.
Race 6 - 2YO NW1 or $10,000 LT
(7) P H IMPULSE attracts McClure here as he brings some solid form with him from the Maritimes. He could go off chalk vs. these and he gets my nod. (2) WHATAWAYTOGO comes off a solid Grassroots effort and he fits well here; using. (5) THE WILD CARD was an easy winner vs. maidens two starts back and he should get put into this race early which makes him a threat. (3) BEACH DEMON is worth a look for the exotics exiting Grassroots races and getting McNair back.
Race 7 - ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD - 2YO Fillies
(2) SHEER ENERGY should move up here after taking a check vs. Grand Circuit rivals even after starting from the worst post; top call. (3) WINTER OLYMPICS is one-for-one in OSS Golds and looks the main danger here. (8) WARAWEE VICKY had no kick last week in a race she likely needed after missing some time. Her price should go up here, but she could be much better now; beware. (10) PRINCESSPARTYPANTS is capable of crashing the exotics at a big price with a late surge; using underneath.
Race 8 - F&M 4YO and Younger NW2 or $30,000 LT
(1) GREEN POINT has a much better chance here moving from the 10-hole inside and I'll give her a slight nod over (8) TRIP ACES HANOVER who took the fastest mark of any of these last week and should be in the hunt again. (6) ST LADS FIJI has been on a tremendous roll out of town, but these are tougher. I'll use her underneath here. (3) CLEARLY BETTER should get a better trip her and she should be coming late here for a slice.
Race 9 - NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10
(7) ON THE SLY drops and gets Roy after the trainer drove last time. Expect aggression here. (8) HETTIES COMMANDER moves in a couple of posts and that makes him a viable contender this time; using. (3) MASS BALANCE comes off a sharp win at Flamboro and this isn't the toughest field for this class. He should get a piece of this. (2) BANK GUARD should get a good following trip near the front here; using underneath.
Race 10 - 4YO and Younger NW2 or $25,000 LT
(2) MACHPAPERSCISSORS was an easy winner in this class last time and he figures to get another good trip racing near the front here; top call. (7) MACHDAVID may be the best one in here, but intent is hard to gauge with Grassroots semi-finals coming soon. (3) MOHAWK SEELSTER can be a bigger threat if he can work out an easier trip this time. (6) ROUSSEAU is worth a look for the exotics coming off the shelf with a sharp qualifier in tow. (5) SIZE ME UP is one that can be coming on late and sneak into the High 5.
