Race 1 – OSS Grassroots 2YO Colts and Geldings - **GTD $50K Pick 5**
(1) JCS ROYAL TEASE should be right there vs. these if he can stay trotting this time and bring the same effort that he displayed at Georgian in his debut. (8) FIT BITT has been solid in both her starts and her good early speed puts her right in the picture here. (4) NORTHERN SULTAN goes for a top trotting barn and he made a huge move in his qualifier; using. (10) TYMAL TAROT is worth a look for the bottom of Tris and Supers getting a catch driver here.
Race 2 – OSS Grassroots - 2YO Colts and Geldings
(2) BIG BLUE FORD lands in a good spot for his debut and gets Jamieson to drive; top call. (7) GAMBLIN ROAD has had gait issues in both starts but also some talent and he can be right there if he minds his manners this time. (5) B DEALIN probably has more speed to offer than what he has shown in his qualifiers so far; using. (8) DART GUY is another making his debut that's worth a look in this wide-open affair.
Race 3 - 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT
(2) APEX SEELSTER is sure to drop some time moving into the Moore barn here and he gets top call in what should be a good spot for him. (6) CASEYS DRAGON has paced a couple of impressive miles at Kawartha Downs and he may get overlooked here. I'll toss him in my Pick 5. (5) LEGION SEELSTER is hard to toss being 1 for 1 and going for top connections. (3) P L MCCRACKEN's second last start puts him right there with these if he can stay flat.
Race 4 – F&M 4YO and Younger NW2 or $26,000 LT - **GTD $50K Pick 4**
(2) SALSBROOK JESSIE has performed well for McClure and she should be tough in here. (4) CHOCOLATEMILKTOAST comes off a very nice effort and she is a multi-race must-use for me in this spot. (1) SHEMARS LADY HAVOC steps up off a nice win and she should get a good trip here, but I prefer to use her underneath in this race. (6) MY BABY GIRL has come talent but also frequent gait issues. She's the type that could pop at a price in a race like this.
Race 5 - OSS Grassroots 2YO Colts and Geldings
(2) LOVEDBYTHEMASSES was a professional-looking winner in his debut at Kawartha and off that solid win he gets my call to repeat. (4) AWSOMEDABRA is the other "form" horse in the race and the second of three that I'll use on multi race bets, the third being (5) PERPETUATE who showed enough in his debut two starts back against Whose Blues for me to use him here. (11) OXFORD HALL's 27 3/5 kicker in his lone qualifier sticks out, but the vet scratch is worrisome; your call.
Race 6 - OSS Grassroots 2YO Colts and Geldings
(5) FREEDOM EXPRESS gets Roy in the bike after an adventurous trip last time with Henriksen driving. I'll give him the nod here. (2) YOUBOOZEYOULOSE looks ready for a decent debut try; using. (10) FRANKS ANGEL showed enough speed last time in Quebec to consider him a bomb with a chance. (3) HOMETOWN BOYZ raced better last time and he's a full-brother to a very good racehorse. He could step up here.
Race 7 - Ontario Sired 2YO NW $10,000 LT - Pick 4
(4) TWIN B WATCH ME was in an impossible spot last time, but he did pace home in 27-flat. I have to think Roy will have him much closer early here which can make the difference. (7) USURPER was no match for Examiner Hanover last time, but there are none like him in here so he should be a top contender. (5) JOURNALISTIC was in a tough spot trying to close into an accelerating pace. He can go better here. (2) CENTURY GRIZZLY has had two rough trips. He's another in with a shot here.
Race 8 - Whenuwishuponastar - 2nd Leg - 2YO Fillies
(5) SOMEBEACHSOMETIME flew late in his debut and she may offer a better price than shipper (3) CAVIART JANE, so she gets the nod, but I'll use both in the Pick 4. (6) MARTINIQUE BEACH was better in her second start and she should contend for a share here again. (1) LIBSPEAK will pop one of these times, but I prefer to use her underneath here.
Race 9 - OSS Grassroots - 2YO Colts and Geldings
(1) REMEMBER TITANS has trotted two solid miles for Team Steacy and he can graduate here. (6) I GOT THE LOOKS goes for a top trotting barn and is one I'll use off his July 26th qualifier. (7) RUBBLEONTHEDOUBLE is worth a look off a solid debut race. (5) MAGIC BOB drops and he should be heard from vs, these.
Race 10 - Ontario Sired Fillies NW $13,000 LT
(1) HIT BY A BUS was an impressive winner when well-bet last time and she gets my call to repeat here. (6) HIDDEN VIEW passed horses as the pace accelerated which is an angle I always like; using. (5) KEYSTONE KALIMBA has to get a better result here facing easier and she can win this with a trip. (4) LOUD JET and (10) SOUTHWIND BAYOU are two to consider for the bottom of all exotic bets.
