Race 1
(4) ORDER MATTIE was good in her debut at Georgian and Canadian Hall of Famer Brown - who trains and drives - has had a bit of a resurgence this year driving trotters; top call. (2) GALAXY SELESTER also had a solid try at Georgian and she looks like a contender here. (1) ERAMOSA MAGIC beat the choice, but she may not get the same trip here on the lead starting from post 1. She's a contender, but no cinch. (6) MSBLACKDIAMONDDUKE dropped three seconds in her July 13th qualifier and she's worth a look for the exotics here in her debut.
Race 2
(8) TYMAL ROYALTY raced okay at Georgian now she gets a significant driver change. Expect an aggressive try from Jamieson here. (1) MISS CONGENIALITY also gets a notable driver switch for this second start and she is a player here. (6) SNOOKER drops out of the Gold division and she should contend here is she stays flat. (4) ANGEL STATUS is the lone winner in this field, but that was in slow time with a slow final quarter, so I'll try to beat her in this spot.
Race 3
(5) WEB CAM is in a good spot to impose his will and force the outside leavers to take a seat early; top call. (1) BRICKMAN was claimed by a barn noted for moving horses up off the claim. I'll use him in the Pick 5. (8) TOMY TERROR got hung out to dry last week going for the front and a similar fate could await him here if he takes on Web Cam at the outset; small share predicted. (7) N EXPENSE can improve in his second start for Auciello and take a piece of this.
Race 4
(8) BIG SONG gets a big driver change here which can mean big improvement; top call. (3) PAZZA HANOVER - a $12K Harrisburg buy - is a 1/2-sister to 1:49 pacer Photobombr Hanover and trainer Brethour has already popped with a couple of babies early; beware. (7) RUE HANOVER is a $16K Harrisburg buy who looks ready to produce a good debut effort. (10) FREE EXCHANGE is a $7K Harrisburg buy that is a 1/2-sister to 1:51 3/5 pacer Free Show. She isn't without a chance here despite drawing poorly.
Race 5
(3) SHADOW MOON drops into a cozy spot to get back on track and he adds Lasix here. Henry should be sending him. (8) THINK ON IT comes back quickly off a sharp win and he is a must-use for me here. (1) SIX FLAGS has the look of one that will trip out along the cones for a share. (9) THINK AGAIN has been facing some tough claimers and he may wake up in this spot at a price and crash the exotics.
Race 6
(4) DANCER HALL rarely loses in this class when he draws decently, and his price should be better this week; slight nod. (2) WARAWEE ROO was all business last time as the choice drew outside. That was a new life's mark and he should be live here again. (5) DUNBAR HALL is tough to leave out here, but the top two are no slouches, either. It makes sense to price shop with these three evenly-matched. (7) WILL TAKE CHARGE was winning here in this class when last seen, but he's been off over a month now and draws farthest out. A small share is likely his ceiling here.
Race 7
(5) ROYAL WITCH wasn't disgraced racing some iron-tough mares in New Jersey on a night where speed held all card long. She can bounce back here. (7) PAPPY GO GO keeps coming close and McClure will get him across one night soon. (4) BIG RICH was my Best Bet last week but surprisingly didn't leave in a spot where it looked like he would. I'll use him again thinking this time he may blast. (1) CASH FOR GOLD had a nice comeback race and he could better this placing with a good trip.
Race 8
(7) BLUE MAGIC was thought enough of to start out in an OSS Gold race, but she blew up at the start. This $40K Lexington purchase lands in a good spot here if she can stay trotting. (5) CADENCE SEELSTER is the only filly in this race that has finished in the exacta so far and that was a good effort; using. (2) NIFTY TRICK comes off a sharp try and gets Henry; using. (6) MAGICALLY HIP looks next best off her decent debut mile.
Race 9
(5) BESTSELLER HANOVER has been sensational so far and a threepeat at short odds looms here. (2) CAROUSEL can trip out here and sneak onto the exacta. (10) BEAUTYONTHEBEACH is impeccably-bred and likely has plenty more to offer than what she showed at Georgian in her debut but asking her to beat the choice while leaving from the 10-hole may be a bit much at this point. (9) FOOL ME AGAIN woke up with a big mile vs. maidens last time and she should be closing for a slice here.
Race 10
(7) SURF REPORT made several moves into a quick pace last week and still was hanging in there gamely at the end. He looks solid here. (2) CHARMBO ORBIT exploded to a huge win and he is the main danger here to the choice. (5) JIMMY BE GOOD wasn't as good off the claim and he's had lameness issues in the past. Check him out in the post parade for clues to his fitness. (1) REIKI gets Roy off the claim but still looks 4th best in this spot.
Race 11
Tough race with several chances. I'll side with (5) P L JILL, who should appreciate getting away from Hannelore Hanover and Filion should handle her aggressively here. (4) ON A SUNNY DAY has recaptured her best form and a threepeat isn't out of the question here despite the class rise. (2) B YOYO fires home quickly every week and in this class he has a chance to pass them all. (7) R FIRST CLASS fits better here, but post does him no favors; small share predicted.
Race 12
(6) LEAN HANOVER gets a much better post here and I expect him to be put into this race much earlier; top call. (7) TWOFOURROADIE had a nightmarish trip last week which should boost his price here. I'll use him in the late Pick 4. (5) JAKE drops, adds Lasix and gets a good post; using. (4) O NARUTAC PERFETTO was too far back last time and while he gets an improved post here, these are tougher. He will likely finish on the edges. (2) MARQUIS VOLO has found his best stride again and he is another who can close for a piece here.
